Poll: Do You Recycle? How?

I was just curious how many people recycled and how the collection and disposal systems worked in other countries, and whether there was much variation. In England for example, we have a system where two (or more, one for regular waste, one recycling, sometimes garden waste, etc.) wheelie bins are collected on a regular basis for each flat/house/hole in the ground.

We have a recycling bin that we put out every week, that the city comes and picks up for us.

It's very nice.

I recycle as much as is reasonable. Recycling as much as one possibly can would likely require specialized living facilities and much more time than reasonable human beings are willing to invest.

My girlfriend made me get a recycling bin for all the beer cans/bottles that we drink, so yes, to some extent.

Waste management takes my giant bin of mountain dew cans and bottles every Monday. Thats about it.

I use the recycling bins for my pop bottles at work. Other than that, no.

Well I put my rubbish in the green bin in the kitchen. Not because I feel compelled to recycle but because there's holes in the top of the lip. With the other bins you have to life the lid off. That's just too much like hard work.

Well its not that recycling is so difficult. I put plastics, foil and aluminum etc in the yellow bin. Organic trash in the brown one , paper in the paper containers down the street glass in one of the 3 glass containers next to that (for white , green, brown glass). Everything else goes into the regular bin. Thats what the law wants me to do and its the reason why the city gave me 3 big trashbins in different colours and set up the containers.
