Poll: Do you 'revenge kill' in games?

I find that if I attempt to focus my energy on a single enemy player, it makes me easy prey for his/her teammates. Fortunately, this works both ways, and I've discovered that T-bagging is an excellent way to get someone to single you out. But I digress.

No, I don't purposefully "revenge kill", although I'm certainly pleased when I do happen to kill the player in question..

Yes, Yes I do.
A single slight against me is enough cause for retribution and I don't call even at 1-1, 1-10 is more like it...

Despite my grudge holding, I never actually get to rage. I've never ragequit anything either.

It all depends. If they just kill me and walk on I let it slide.

However, if they teabag my corpse excessively (i.e. more then just a couple of times) or brag about it over a head set then I kill kill them three or four times to get back at them, as long as other players don't make themselves the target of my wrath along the way.

that's a rather hard task to achieve while playing games like cod where a split second determines if you live or die.

i dont really try but i usually am the one of 3 best players in most multi games so i usually get it even if i dont try.

Depends upon how I'm killed. If it's a cheap kill from someone who took advantage of a situation then I will generally go after them. On the other hand, if someone killed me superbly or appears more skillful than me, then I will let it go.

I don't go out of my way to kill them but if the opportunity to humiliate or annoy them arises; I take it.

I don't get the point of revenge killing, I get so many easy kills due to someone constantly running down the same route to get me I can see the problems that arise from vengeance killing.

Kind of, I kill the guy who killed me 'cos I know his rough location. Although given the crappy spawn system on MW2, I usually end up spawning quite near the guy who killed me, so revenge is often swift!

If I die by the same guy again I usually give up.

only when its a super annoying troll douchebag, especially if they are on my team

in reach the other day i grabbed the sniper, got a killing streak with all headshots off the bat, and some douchebag on my team kept sitting right behind me, meleeing me every 5-10 seconds to get my shield down and to get me out of scope, just hoping someone would shoot me so he could take the sniper, the fucker literally sat there for 2 minues doing that till someone finally did kill me, but the bastard only had one shot left in the sniper, in which he got headshotted from their sniper cuz he sucked and i continued to go over and teebag him while i had already grabbed the fresh new sniper.

Yes, but I have the old consoles and don't really play online.

It is highly amusing to chase down one of the other 3 players in the room and get them back. I like the immediate smack-talk it creates; and the fact that if it happens to you, you can laugh it off in good company :)

So much yes.
RDR is the best example, almost everyone is a trigger-happy idiot. I'll do my best to go out of their ways, but if you kill me without reason you'll get a facefull of lead.

In TF2 that system feel forced, so if my "nemesis" happens to be in the way of my bullets too bad for him, otherwise its unimportant.

Oh yes, especially in TF2, where it's pretty much encouraged. You should've seen me chase that Demoman that dominated me. As a Sniper. With my Kukri. All the way through their base.

Nope. I don't play competitively so it doesn't bother me.
Well you can do it for shits & giggles as well.
