Poll: Do you Roleplay?

I'm bored so I am starting a thread, this is my first one ever. I roleplay and I'm curious to see if anyone else here does aswell. Since some of you are confused about which roleplaying I'm talking about. I mean the kind with a DM and such. (Hurray for editing.) I did check if this was done before (Not effectively) so don't get angry if it has.

I roleplay quite a bit, random settings, as Random characters. I have played characters anywhere from a Smart Cracking hero, to a Dog who was secretly bent on world domination and had a weakness for tuna flavored catfood.

Anything other than that is umm...not really for me. I have nothing nice to say about it, so i wont say anything at all.

Heh, I meant more on that fantasy adventure type RPing (Y'know, with a DM and all)... Not sexual RPs with a GF.

I'm in a D6 Star Wars group, but we don't do anything in character, so yes and no.

Perhaps you should change the title or OP to reflect that.

A bloke at the pub told us to come up with a character and then talked us through various scenarios. It was a bit of fun, but I doubt i will again soon, or ever take seriously.

In the bedroom? Yeah, a bit of minor stuff depending on what gets us both off.

In the more...fantasy sense? A bit of text based stuff every now and again. Haven't done any tabletop in a long while due to lack of other people willing to participate. Never done LARP (and don't intend to anytime soon).

In all seriousness, I run World of Darkness games on a regular basis. I roleplay and act, two hobbies that complement each other pretty well.

Of course they do. I mean, the only real difference is not having a pre-printed script and not standing on a stage or in front of a camera. Unless one have the misfortune of playing with a group all about xp-grinding and killing monsters for loot (basically playing World of Warcraft by rolling dice). Total buzzkill.

As for World of Darkness, we tried a hand at Mage: The Awakening today. That's one screwy RPG, since you have to think in really wierd ways when you use magic.

Hmm thought so, well im out. But you guys have fun.

Actually i want to roleplay with one of the mods here, i can be the naughty escapist and they can put a thing under my name that says "user was sent to my room for being too sexy"...oh wait ive said too much already.

I love to roleplay. I have several characters which are actually well thought out so i'm told.

Someone told me that writing a book based on one of them was a good idea.

I'm not going to though, i don't really see the need.
