For those of you who do, what's your favorite type of music, or specific song, to sing along to?
Yes I sing along while driving and no I definately can't sing. I have pretty much learnt all of The Gaslight Anthems albums by singing along with them. I have been listening to Devin Townsends "Epicloud" album a lot at the moment, possibly my album of the year and I try to sing along.

I try to hit those high notes, I hear myself and its...its just awful. Thankfully I'm alone in my car.

I sing all the time. I start my day at 3am so I need things to wake me up. Namely exercise and singing in the car.

I am not the next Freddy Mercury, but I can sing. Do wish my voice was higher though, I don't like being an Alto.

Only if my dad's in the car with me. We both roll down the windows, poke our heads outside, and scream like a dying whale sing at the top of our lungs.

I'm still learning to drive at the moment, but I do try to instigate sing-alongs in another person's car on occasion. Does that count?

Very occasionally. When I do I usually sound horrible, even though people say I'm a good singer...

Yes, You Know My Name (Casino Royale's theme), only when alone, and I sing well but have terrible range. To the point where it's frustrating to get to the one note and I just become a goose.

I frequently sing when driving on my own, without any music playing because my car's stereo was locked when we brought it and I don't listen to music much anyway. Can I sing? Why yes, yes I can. I've been in a choir before, sung a solo before and am an accomplished instrumentalist on top of that so yeah, I can sing.

I often sing to the music in the car, practically every day coming home from school I do.

Often, yes. Especially on longer lone rides.

I often end up having the same CD on my car stereo for months at a time. The player is a bit broken though; it doesn't remember the last played track (always starting with track #1) and it sometimes goes to the beginning of the CD on bumps.

So the first track gets played helluva lot. I hit the last phase today:

I used to be afraid of singing cause I always have my windows down and I thought people outside would hear me but then I realized my jeep is loud as balls so now I sing at the top of my lungs... very bad at singing though so..

Not usually, but if I am in a particularly good mood I will sing my lungs out to the words of whatever song is playing.

Unfortunatly I do.
Most likely to occur when driving an empty car between my hometown and the university (a 3+ hour trip). Music is not a requirement and everyone I've met agrees that I can in fact not sing.

If there's something good playing, then yes. At this point I should mention that I generally have a disk with a bunch of my favourite songs playing while I'm driving. Make of that what you will.

I pretty much sing any time I'm alone, because I'm an awful singer. But I love music and I love singing.

I don't sing but I do hum random or task-related tunes. The other day I was treating some wood with a load of old engine oil and I couldn't get Sonic 2's Oil Ocean Zone track out of my head.

Depends on my mood and what's playing. If I'm having a good day or I'm on the way to something I'm excited about and a song I particularly enjoy comes on, I'll sing along. As for whether or not I can sing, that's irrelevant, seeing as how no one else will be hearing me. :p
