I just had an eye opening experience reading this article, http://deadspin.com/#!5424415/sitters-vs-standers--the-great-wipe-hope. I was amazed to find out that people would stand rather than sit. I am very curious and would like to do a little poll of the escapist community's habits.

I'm from New Jersey, and I sit. I was shocked to learn recently though that my best friend stands to wipe. I didn't even know that option existed.

I need diagrams of what is considered sitting and standing to fully understand this. I think I would be considered a sitter but I'm not quite sure.

i sort of sit standing up if that makes sense. i guess i lean as others have said.

i cant get my hand to my butt if im sitting down cause of my toilet seat being small etc. plus why would i want to put my hand in the toilet. probably touching the seat and stuff.

i always thought that sitting was normal cause thats all you ever see on tv etc. Like in american dad one scene where steve was on the toilet and basically pooing when he lied and wiping while sitting.

As long you wipe and dont leave skid marks in your pants i dont think it matters how you do it.
