I swear more when I think than I do out loud. I don't really keep count either way so I guess swear as much as the next person, maybe a little more or a little less. Doesn't matter to me. Just words and all that.

I would say I swear quite a lot, but it all depends who I am talking to. With some of my friends I swear a lot, but other friends I have don't like it so I make sure not to swear as much when I am around them. I also try not to swear that much around my parents or my grandparents as I don't really want to get reamed out by them, as they don't like swearing unless there is good reason.

I'm Irish, we swear a lot. Actually, most of what we say is swearing.

I'm Scottish, so pretty much this but more of it is aimed at Ethnic people.

I swear a good amount, but not like every other sentence. In my opinion, people who swear as much as possible are people who have a very limited vocabulary.

(Bonus points for not fucking swearing in your post)

Occasionally, yes. I'm going to resist the urge to type swearwords in ALLCAPS, if only to be a pseudo-rebel. *laughs*

Pretty often to be honest. Not always, but I do occasionally drop a "fuck" and a "shit".

Well, the word "Fuck" or "Fucking" (please no probation) I use often, but not to express anger. I use it to express when a feeling is big. For example: "Man, that was fucking hilarious". It's not anger that "Fucking" is expressing, it just empowers the word hilarious.

I go to a college so needless to say there are at least 3 people i regularly interact with who say the F word in every other sentence, ITS BLOODY STUPID!!! (bloody, you see? not swearing)
No, you're being an hypocrite instead. We all know what you want to say, you're just afraid to say it.

If people swear all the time it becomes perfectly meaningless and you're left with nothing to show genuine anger except shouting and violence! So what about you? Do you swear?
Because shouting and violence aren't enough? Yes, I see what you mean. Generally when people are shouting at me and hitting me, I too have a difficult time knowing whether they're upset or simply psychotic if they don't throw the odd "fuck you" in there.

Seriously? Your entire argument is "then how do you convey anger"? An angry face is the universal signal. Best of all, it's involuntary, unconsciously offered and perceived, and, as I mentioned, universal. "I'M ANGRY" seems to do the job too. Glad to clear that up.

And yes, I "swear". They're just words. I use them when appropriate, like every other word. If words are causing you that much grievance you have bigger issues than linguistics.

I will only swear with my mates and then only if it is funny. I never really swear when I'm angry because when I am angry I go all calm and usually say something that makes the other person look stupid. This will then follow with them swearing and make them look even more stupid.

Wouldn't betraying your will or honest intent for the sake of an externally designated ideology mean you're a conformist?

And if you acknowledge that, wouldn't that mean that you're ultimately not betraying your true will by not conforming to not conforming to conformis-... God my head...

I swear. But I swear in a more casual manner. I don't think I use swear words any less when talking like when I'm shouting and angry(Although I rarely shout, even if I'm angry).

When typing, yeah occasionally. When I'm all on my own and get a bit frustrated I tend to swear a lot. But in day-to-day conversation no I don't tend to swear much (if at all).

No. I don't swear. At all.

If you think I'm lying, feel free to get whacked in the crotch by a sledgehammer. I don't need to swear to insult folks.
