Poll: Do you take things from your hotels?

After doing my homework with a pen from the last hotel me and my family went to, having a shower washing my hair with hotel brand Shampoo and Conditioner and drying off with a hotel towel, I began to wonder. Does this make me a thief?

So am I the only one that does this?, and to add to the discussion, What's the biggest thing you've stolen from a hotel room?

I enjoyed the apple juice at the last proper hotel I went to.
but I couldn't take it with me.
I think I may of brought back some complementary soap from a foreign hotel though...

I stole their pens, their towels and even their bible. I'm unsure as to why really, it may have been because of all the free booze they gave us (come to think of it we probably should have paid for that as well.)

I can't say I stay in hotels often enough to "steal" things. Really, the only hotels I've been in were cheap motels during my family's cross-country ride when I was like, a pre-teen.

So I haven't had a chance.

And nah, it doesn't make you a thief. Being caught makes you a thief -_-

Stuff that's replaced anyway like shampoo and soap I do, but towels is a step too far for me.

I took a pair of slippers once. But I asked the lady at the reception and she said I could have them.
So while, technically, I "took things from my hotel", I didn't steal anything.
As for your "evil deeds", well, the only thing I find weird and problematic is that you took a towel.
Towels are holy. Always know where your towel is! You disrespected the hotel's towels and that is, in my eyes, despicable.
The other stuff is fine, though. Pens are publicity and shampoo/conditioner are for free, no harm done.

I take the bathroom stuff and any sachets of coffee, sugar, little milk things and teabags. It all goes to a good cause.

I take anything that isn't nailed down. But seriously, most of the stuff like soap and shampoo the hotels just throw out anyways. They aren't going to let someone use the same stuff I just cleaned my body with. I have enough towels, but if I ever need one, those get taken too.
