Why yes I do talk to myself when I play my games, and by God I'll keep doing it, be it a slight mutter or a booming voice of frustration

Why in fact I do. An annoying amount of talking actually. People have asked be if I was doing a recording or if I was on the phone but no, just me and my games.
I do when I play Total War games. I may have shouted "OBEY ME!" when the unit AI starts to go crazy and stop going were I click. Also "HOLD, YOU COWARDS! HOLD!" when their morale starts to break.
i talk to myself all the damn time, so talking while i game is pretty much a given.

I never shut up when I'm playing games. I talk to myself in first person, I talk to myself in third person (which is mental), I'll talk to the protagonist, I'll talk as the protagonist, I'll talk to the other characters and I even been known to hum along with the music (Halo's theme anyone).
Things tend to get rather noisy when I'm playing, unless I'm playing local multiplayer, then I shut up and don't make a sound.

Sometimes. Usually it's me yelling at the "You Died" screen on Dark Souls, but other times I just talk with myself about the various things in the game world.

And not just when I play games. Sometimes, I get stuck on sentences, and repeat them a few times until I can get past the bug.
But in games, it is usually to complain about the stupidity of offline characters doing things wrong.

It adds to the immersion, my friends give me the weirdest looks. I'll always be talking to myself as I play, but I talk most in RTS sessions
I shout silently when I get annoyed at games, or sometimes my frustration goes beyond words and I just growl at it.
Yep. All the time. Just an hour ago, I was giggling to myself in glee while playing Aces of the Galaxy. Star Fox on Xbox. Hell yeah.
I talk to the character I'm controlling a fair amount.
"Come on, E'lara. Stop rolling in front of that wall and hide behind it!"

Oh good. I thought I was the only one. You can't shut me up when I'm plugged in. I have no control over it. I talk shit to asshole characters, and yes sometimes I sing little songs I make up on the spot. Glad I'm not alone in that
