Well of course they do! I mean, it's as common knowledge as New Zealanders flying on Kiwis, all Americans being cowboys and talking like John Wayne, the French being cowards, the Russians riding bears as cavalry, the Welsh mining coal and practicing poor hygiene, and the Japanese regularly flying their giant robots to work/school.

Looks like SOME people need to get acquainted with an Encyclopedia.

Yeah its pretty obvious they do, I mean, maybe not all Australians or even all the time... but lets face it, someone is riding a kangaroo right now somewhere....

Of course. Australia has drunken rednecks just like everyone else, and given enough beer, you could convince said individuals to hop onto the back of anything.
Which kind of explains your conception.

I'm sorry, i just had to. You left that open to so many possibilities.

No you fools! Everyone in the provinces rides Moose, only the Inuit in the Northern territories ride Polar Bears on their way from their igloo and to their ice fishing spot! Bloody foreigners, they think all of Canadians are the same! QQ

Aussies ride kangaroos, it's a fact like all Germans hate jews, all Americans are huge overweight slobs, Irish people are drunk and French people are cowards. Also Martians are evil.

Weren't these facts? Amirite or wut?

OT: No I don't believe like that said.
You're kind of undermining your point about stereotypes not being true when you bring up the French there...

OT: Why would anyone vote no? There's pictoral evidence right there in the first post! You might as well be asking "do your eyes function properly?" or "have you ever heard of Photoshop?". Duh!
Sarcasm, I dunno if you were using it but I sure was .

When I went to Australia I had to take the kangaroo to the hotel. Better than a taxi.
And cheaper. :)

Of course they do, just like us Brits who ride pigeons and our Welsh friends who ride sheep...wait no! Not like that!!!
;)
LOL, we Aussies make that same joke about New Zealanders. ;-)

I was under the impression that the only person badass enough to ride a kangaroo is Saxton Hale.

See here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comics/namegame/8769-Name-Game-The-Important-Australians]
Him and Steve Irwin are the definition of Australian manliness. RIP Steve.
You forgot Paul Hogan. :-(
Oh gawd I did. Please forgive me.

How many people here are actually Australian? Cause they would know that the average Australian grows a kangaroo from birth and they are spiritually bound and they do everything together :) i love my Kango :)

I have relations in Australia. This never happened. Kangaroos not only can't support humans on their back, but would be unwilling to.

It is a 100% indisputible fact that all Australians do ride Kangaroos every single day as they go about their business playing didgeridoos and throwing boomerangs.

The english word "Van" (a vehicle used to transport large groups of people) stems from a common Australian slang term "Vangaroo" which denotes a kangaroo capable of carrying more than five people (van is Australian for "five.")

Every person claiming to be Australian and saying they don't ride kangaroos is actually either an ignorant non-australian trolling you, an Australian who doesn't want you to know their secret or Vin Diesel, who hates Australia and kangaroos with a passion ever since his father was brutally run down by a battalion of Australian Vangaroo Tanks in north africa during World War II. This is why in every Vin Diesel movie after the end credits there is a special message from Vin regarding the dangers of travel down under.

These are all absolute truths. No amount of silly "scientific" claims to the counter hold any water in a reasonable world based on logic (which is where I clearly am living since I know the truth).

I thought they rode elk. Chinese ride bears (pandas that is). But, yeah. It makes sense to ride a Kangaroo. I certainly would.
I'm sorry, but the Chinese ride dragons.
