Aussies ride kangaroos, it's a fact like all Germans hate jews, all Americans are huge overweight slobs, Irish people are drunk and French people are cowards. Also Martians are evil.

Weren't these facts? Amirite or wut?

OT: No I don't believe like that said.
You're kind of undermining your point about stereotypes not being true when you bring up the French there...

OT: Why would anyone vote no? There's pictoral evidence right there in the first post! You might as well be asking "do your eyes function properly?" or "have you ever heard of Photoshop?". Duh!
Sarcasm, I dunno if you were using it but I sure was .
Well, the rest are just stereotypes, but the French are cowards for real. I mean, it took a Corsican for them to start not running away from... anything...

So do you think Australians ride kangaroos? Or is it just a made up story? And this is just one of many prejudices that people associate with societies today. What other stereotypes can you think of that are related to societes and cultures?

"Hey, in Australia, do you ride kangaroos?
In America, do you ride fat people...?"

And to answer your (not real) question (taken out of context).... Unfortunately, there's just so few normal people to ride.

I would guess that some people probably do. Not just because they're Australian, but think about it - at some point, someone must have thought "I want to sit on that thing and tell it to take me places."

After all, we ride horses, don't we?

As for the average Aussie, absolutely not. But I reckon it'll be some sort of underground sport somewhere.
