Aussies ride kangaroos, it's a fact like all Germans hate jews, all Americans are huge overweight slobs, Irish people are drunk and French people are cowards. Also Martians are evil.

So do you think Australians ride kangaroos? Or is it just a made up story? And this is just one of many prejudices that people associate with societies today. What other stereotypes can you think of that are related to societes and cultures?

I would guess that some people probably do. Not just because they're Australian, but think about it - at some point, someone must have thought "I want to sit on that thing and tell it to take me places."

After all, we ride horses, don't we?

As for the average Aussie, absolutely not. But I reckon it'll be some sort of underground sport somewhere.
