Except what you think. Put some more effort in next time. I mean, you haven't even titled the poll, just the thread.

On topic, however, I'd say they can be. But they can also just be freckles. I've never seen them detract from anyone's attractiveness: either they make them cute or they're just part of them.

They can be or the can be unattractive, depends on the person and how intense(not sure if that's the right word) they are.

Freckles are like chocolate sprinkles; In moderation it's yummy, but too much and it'll make you sick.

AGREED!

I like girls who have the same kinda freckle situation I have...only tend to come up in the summer with a bit of colour - just makes a nice lil added feature

Yeah, they have their appeal, in small amounts.

Too many and it becomes distracting (not a great word but I can't think of a better one), not cute.

My girlfriend has small patches of freckles under each eye :) I love it when she forgets to put make-up on and I can see them. Makes her so much cuter :)

Anything that can make people insecure can make me go "d'awww", and I appreciate anything that makes people look less like Calvin Klein models or people from makeup ads, it gives people character.

Mine were almost the bane of my existence (gawd, so many cliches, I'm sorry) when I was young and ridiculously self-conscious about any "flaw" (meaning any discrepancy between me and models and the like). I stopped going to the beach one summer and became goth-pale and put milk in the bath and tried to scrub them off because I didn't like them. They're not really noticeable when I'm pale. I didn't really look at other people and think they were ugly if they had freckles, I just made excuses for why mine were worse or different (even when I had less, lol). I ended up noticing other people who looked good despite freckles, and I realised that people probably don't care what I look like either, and if they did, I shouldn't care for them. I wouldn't say I want more of them (I don't try to tan) but I'm okay with them.
