I do, but only sporadically. It's not something I'm willing to pay for. I do Diablo 2 games online, but that's once a week at best. Otherwise I'm far more interested in single player or split screen. LAN parties are also cool.

I believe online play is a good time waster that is fun if you're playing with friends or destroying the opposition. But it sucks if you lose just because of that one dimwit...

I use PSN but there's no way I'll be paying £40 for PSN plus. Other than a shiny badge on your profile and free trials, what else is there to PSN Plus??

I don't care if you're better at me at a video game, so no I don't play multiplayer most of the time. Any use of actual skill just leads to whining from the other team anyway.

The amount of times I've been called a shit player on Call of Duty for killing somebody from behind with a sniper rifle is unimaginable. What am I meant to do, catch up with them and make sure they have a fair chance of killing me?

I shy away from the multiplayer aspect of most games because it's not what I'm interested in. I buy games for the single-player modes because that's where the story usually is and I believe that if your game can't stand up as a good game on it single-player alone then you've done something wrong. Unless of course your game is intended to be more oriented around multiplayer than it is single-player.

I also think people need to stop trying to shoe-horn multiplayer into every game that comes out. I can't tell you how frustrated I was that in order to get certain items in LBP's single-player campaign it required multiple people. I understand it was a game where connection between players was really pushed, but I saw no reason why the collecting (items damn near required to build anything in the level creator mind you) should rely on the teaming up with others. If I wanted to put up with other people while playing that game I would have jumped to the community page and played player made levels.

Hello!

I've done very little online multiplayer. Except for WoW a few years back, and Uru Live. I loves me some Uru Live.

So rarely do I use online multiplayer that it is hardly worth mentioning. The only console game I've ever played online was Red Dead Redemption and that was more as a curiosity than anything. Online multiplayer is not a selling point for me. I'd much rather have a solid, well-crafted single player campaign. Or, if there is multiplayer, I'd rather play with people who are actually in the room with me.

i don't play too many games online, and even of those few they're only console games. PC gaming is full of HAX and FAIL. i just recently started playing from home because i got broadband, and i play games with my friends mostly. the only game i play freely is MW2 but that's a love/hate relationship.

just last week, my friend unwittingly brought up the topic of me being a black guy, and people i had been playing with just fine had become all "******" this and "welfare" that.

Hahahaha, Don't get me started on PSN Plus... Not worth it, not in a billion years.... Well... maybe... I'll see

But yeah. I do play online. Not all the time because it gets me too angry. I play TF2 quite regularly but TF2 is too funny to get too angry at.
I sometimes play COD lol what? No not MW2 lol no... Do I look like an American Frat boy? (Well you can't see me but Shut up!) I play WAW or 4 on occasion.
The game I play most online (Or should I say GAMES) is Battlefield.

I do but only for specific Games. I can't stand the online community most of the time. If they aren't foul mouther 12 year olds then they are Campers. If they aren't campers they are usually people who play the game to much.
this is another reason i don't, oh and my freinds brother is one of those 12 year olds.

Pure awesome, free games, discounts, and most of the offers (if added up) in only the first month shows you actually save money if you get PSplus. And that's just the first month
If you live in the UK, you get LittleBigPlanet for free...
If you live in America you get 15 months for the price of a year.
Also, PSplus members will get early access to future betas and demos.
OT: I like playing online with intelligent people. If "that kid" (you know who I mean) comes online and can't shut his mouth, I'm going back to the lobby.
It's always more fun to play against thinking humans than AI. Bots can be a different case.
