I have a gallery of Pokemon response pics at my disposal. I use them from time to time but I generally stick to text.

I know, theres a button on the bottom Right of a thread that says "CHECK FOR ABILITY FOR POLL, THEN FILL OUT BELOW THEN CLICK POST!" How do so many not see it? But YAAY, PICS! No, its just that the site hasn't been generating them. Nope. Never use emoticons in chat either.
I will sometimes use images if they are relevant or when I want to show someone something, but I will never use them... well, the way you're using them now.

Not that often here, since this isn't a local storage image board, but as often i can on chans
It's kinda hard to scroll through thousands of largely unsorted images in my folder to find ''that'' pic fast enough

Only really when they're pertinent/relevant/necessary.
*shrug* Otherwise, I don't bother (too much effort googling images and getting url's, yes, I'm a lazy arse).

I do post pictures, I like to post pictures because it can get my point across in my color and tone then I can do with just boring text >.>
I mostly only do it in the forum games forum because it gives me the most opportunity to use my pictures and I sometimes make my own if I must post a picture and my perfect picture doesn't exist but I don't do it that often.
I used to post pictures to make a point on some other forum, but they didn't appreciate it so I went back to posting single sentence posts.
You missed 'never' on your poll. I don't use pictures because i don't need them to get my point across. My Enlgish is sufficient and where it's not pictures won't suffice. I like seeing them but they discredit the points people are trying to make usually. They also spam the hell out of threads by taking up way too much space.
