Poll: Do You Use Twitter?

Simple yes or no question. I know it's been done a million times, but this is for a research project. Your answers and responses will be kept completly confidential, and, if you would like to include the reasons why you do/don't use Twitter, I'm more than happy to read them.

I honestly don't see the point, my life is not that interesting.
Facebook is much more than enough.

I find the entire concept very unappealing. It appeared in my consciousness sometime late in 2008, when all the news organizations started twittering. It took several months for me to figure out what the hell they were talking about; i hoped it was a passing fad (like myspace)

I love that commercial with the dad... "I'm sitting on the patio..."

No and I do not intend to. Like Fenrizz said, Facebook is about as narcissistic as I am willing to be. Nobody cares about what you eat for breakfast.

My life is too boring to make constant updates about it. To get a twitter account, you should be required to pass an awesomeness test to make sure what you posted was worth the bandwidth.

Whenever my friends tried to convince me to use it, they would show me "good examples" which consisted of people constantly posting about crap like what they ate for dinner and what tv program they are correctly watching. isn't it kinda sad when people feel the need to tell other people what they are doing constantly rather than enjoy themselves?

I only use it to follow other people. Mostly, I follow game sites and film sites, but I also follow the odd comedian to get information about tour dates and view funny tweets.

No, I don't use it. If I suddenly have a desperate need to tell my friends what I'm up to right this second, I'll use MSN or something.

I think that guys at Rooster Teeth put it best when describing Twitter. Its the same as walking in to a room full of people who are shouting whatever is at the top of their heads, and no one is listening to anyone else.

For me, I don't actually post on Twitter, I only use it to follow Stephen Colbert and game developers.

I use it to follow developers or to link stuff I find online to friends who aren't online on skype at that point of time

Nope, for no other reason than I have no real reason to bother using it. If I had anything worth tweeting, I may well use it, but I don't, so I don't use it.
