Indeed, as do I, if I leave the door not wearing my signature flat cap and peacoat, then chances are I am wearing my leather jacket and cowboy hatFatboy_41 said:Absolutely. I love my flat caps.

Don't diss the almighty power of the trench coat/fedora combo. That's some Harry Dresden shit right there. Or at least, Cover Harry Dresden shit.Ginger768 said:I imagine Everyone on the escapist as the type of people you see at borders wearing black trench coats with a pony tail hairstyle+ a Naruto headband. Or something equally embarrassing, like a Fedora or Bowler cap.
mostly this, i find hats to be annoying most of the time and i got a pretty decent set of hair, so flauntin' what i got...Dags90 said:Also protects your identity from would-be witnesses...TheIronRuler said:I usually wear a Balaclava in the winter to protect my ears from freezing and keeping my head warm.
I'm not a hat person. At all. They mess up your hair and are itchy. Thankfully NYC winters are usually mild enough for frost bite to not be a concern on the great majority of winter days.
oh goodness, i'm all for people wearing what they want to, but you must look ridiculous..there are one maybe two people i have ever seen that actually pull off a fedora (you'd be surprised how many people i see try to pull it off in college, it's like initiation for them or something.)TakerFoxx said:I never go out without my trusty fedora. And by fedora, I mean a real fedora, of the old school mobster design, not those cheap knock-offs you can get at Walmart.
Other acceptable forms of headwear include bowlers, top hats, straw hats, and English caps.
My trench coat is a thoroughly modern, single breasted, beech colored affair, thank you very much. Also, Borders went out of business months ago. Where have you been?Ginger768 said:I imagine Everyone on the escapist as the type of people you see at borders wearing black trench coats with a pony tail hairstyle+ a Naruto headband.
