if you have the boxes you can get the games from Battle.net, just make an account and submit the Authentication Keys and you can download the games.

I used to, until I bought supreme commander. I have a friend who just started playing it again.

I would constantly be playing DotA but unfortunately I don't own Frozen Throne...

Seems a bit defeatist to buy it now since I play League of Legends and I want to get Starcraft 2.

Sometimes, just not multiplayer. I like messing around with bots or replaying singleplayer sometimes.

I can host games but nobody ever joins, I think it's because of the mass amounts of bot hosts that's hindering the amount of people seeing my room.

Recently not so much - I used to log on for some Dota and Tower Defense and such but then I got into League of Legends and well =/ But that game had a good run, not many games have people still playing them 5+ years on.

I would if I had the game. Which I'm thinking about getting sometime. I mean I still play games like Starcraft, C&C Generals, Hearts of Iron, Victoria, and Rome: Total War. That's mainly because my computer can't handle newer games that well... BUT still I like to play these classics every now and then.

I've played partway through the singleplayer, then stopped as I tend to do when the novelty factor fades. I don't tend to play multiplayer...
I think the main issue is that people have moved on - both from conventional and mod games of WC3. StarCraft 2 has captured the modding spark - just look at the mods Blizzard has tapped from the gaming community for "professional" release. And the just plain multiplayer elements? A lot of them have moved on to StarCraft 2 as well, and a lot of the rest, I think, would rather be playing a more modern fantasy RTS - if one existed.

Which reminds me, Blizzard is due for WarCraft 4, methinks.

I've lost mine too. I just got new ones for under £10.

I play it quite often. It's still as fantastic as it was te first time I played it way back then. Don't play any serious games though, only Hero line wars and some Trolls V Elves. I also play it for the single player though. This game taken second place in taking the most hours of my life (first being Hl2 and episodes) but I think that it was time well spent.

I used to play it and edit every week for the past 5 years. Now that I've become really good at the trigger editor I've decided to enter the StarCraft II galaxy.

Kinda sad leaving a game and its strong community I've loved for so long.

Unless Blizzard has gotten scrapped together a new RTS development team within the past 4 years I highly doubt it because the RTS development team that worked on Wc3 are working on SC2's next expansion.
