Poll: Does this makes front page less cluttered? [close-up added]

I realized that I'm bothered with absence of borders between preview texts on front page, so I switched articles on the left with the news.
This way pictures for the article makes some kind of border.

What do you think?

I was like "Bloody Hell, did I just go on the wrong website?" ... The redesign does seem a little bit weird, I actually thought the previous one, was more organized in a sense, and tidy. Well, will get use to this one I guess.

I see what you've one and it does make it look a little bit better, but it still isn't perfect. In my opinion there needs to be some sort of line (even if it's very feint) breaking up the different stories/articles etc. At the moment it just looks like a mass of links.

What's neat is that that whole section is a dynamic grid, so moving items around like you did is actually quite easy for us.

The Grid - The space under the Top Feature Box, and the returning Forum Box, is filled with articles and news and videos and announcements ... everything that is good and holy about The Escapist. The staff has direct control over everything in this space: the specific pieces shown, the size and shape of those pieces and even the colors of the text. Basically, our darling tech people have made this space such that if we say jump, it does it. Check this space often, because it will be updated all day, every day, whenever we find nifty stuff we want to share with you.

Yeah, that's the reason I tried to come up with something that won't involve redesign of a boxes. I hope that something will change... or that I'll get used to it
