Poll: Dog or Cat?

I love dogs, but when i'm near cats i usually say something like this: "KITTEHEY!!!!! UR SOOO KEWT!!! AN FLUFFY!".
So clearly i prefer cats, plus they're easier (and cheaper) to care for than dogs.

DOGS! It's guide DOGS, guard DOGS, drug DOGS, search and rescue DOGS (think St. Bernard in mountain area's), hunting/ retrieval DOGS. You can teach a dog a lot of tricks (not all dogs though). And they have this thing called loyalty.

Obviously, in general I'm talking about the bigger dogs here. Personally, apart from the Dachshund (Wiener dog) I can't stand small dogs (especially chihuahua's).

As for cats....never had em. Don't feel the need to have em either.

Dogs ... I like dogs so much more than cats. The bigger the dog, the better. Grew up with a pack of dogs #.# I get dogs and I love their loyalty.

I like both, but at the moment I have to say cats as both my friends have cats. One is a called Cosmo, and the other cat is a kitten who is roughly 8-9 weeks old called Squeak. Both Cosmo and Squeak look alike as well as they are roughly the same sort of breed. It's always fun to watch them interact. But one of my friends in the States has this beautiful white german shepherd and if I could, I think I would steal him. He is so adorable.

Yeah, pretty much this. Set out food twice a day, set up a cat box, let them outside every once and a while, and they're ready to be cuddled.

And because cats are independent, they can never be as loyal to another being.

Just sayin' My dog isn't high maintenance at all, most she needs is food(like cats), and a short walk every day or so which frankly people should be doing anyway >_>

*shrug* I haven't had that many experiences with cats, but from being around friends and relatives cats, I just don't like the attitude they give off.
