I'm a combination of all three with more dork than geek and a little more geek than nerd.
However, I like to say I'm an aficionado of many things in life (they just don't happen to be what most people consider 'important' or 'cool').

Other. I have a very full social life with a lager group of mates. It just happens that I like to play games and surf the web too.

I have been called a dork more than anything in life, so I would assume that would suit me much better than the other two.

Though strangely people seem to try and coin the term as a compliment for me?

I chose other, there is no "all of the above" option. I do get referred to by friends as a nerd.

I am a Geek, used to be a Dork... but since MMA has made martial arts popular again, the dynamic has changed and now I'm training with douche bags.

go figure.

I don't think I really fall into any one of those categories too much. Probably more a Geek than anything else there.

Voted geek, in honor of my old econmoics teacher. She was bringing back geek in a good way, associating it with being good at something rather than what most people think, ie that so and so is a geek so must have no life, is boring bla bla.

I think why I've never been able fit in here is because I was never one of those: I was (and still am, kinda, sorta) reasonably popular at school, and hung out with both the cool kids and the guys that played DnD during lunch break. So, it was a delicate balance of nerd and jock.

Edit: I kind of sound like a douchebag in this post. Oh well.

Yeah, I was just wondering what people thought based on the actual definitions. The three words seem to be used interchangeably without respect to the original definitions.

I was just wondering which oddball faction the Escapists primarily identify themselves with. I paraphrased the definitions from the Wiki. For the record:

-A dork is a socially inept person, often out of touch with (not disliking) contemporary trends. This is regardless of intelligence or intellect.
-A geek is overly obsessed with things, including technology, gaming, and other intellectual topics.
-A nerd is someone who passionately pursues obscure or intellectual hobbies outside the social or popular activities standard to their age group.

So, what are you?

I see myself mostly as a geek, but could be seen as a nerd depending on what groups I am around. Many of the nerdy things of the past are becoming more mainstream today.
By your definitions I'm none.
