Poll: Double XP

So this weekend is Double points weekend on Blops in celebration of their new DLC.
Now with these double points ive managed to prestiege in a day (Points are just thrown at you).

Now i ask you, if EVERY weekend or every national holida was double XP day/weekend for whatever online game you play...

...would you play more?

Not really.

The only online games that I play with systems such as these are CoD and Halo, and in CoD I spend the first few days after launch to power my way to 55/60/whatever the cap is and then I never prestige.

And in Halo I don't give a shit about what rank I am.

Nope. I havn't even played Black Ops this weekend, partially because I am sick of it and partially because I got a new game on friday.

No. But I liked the tf2 double item drop/infinite item cap weekend (or longer I forgot).
They should do that more often. because you can actually obtain stuff then. besides numbers.

2X EXP is nice every now and then for a few days but if it was a regular thing it would put me off

The only online games I play which use XP are CoD4, BC2 and Halo: Reach. Now, I don care about my rank in any of those games, because in CoD4 I've already unlocked all the guns I like, in BC2 I've already unlocked everything and all the stuff you can unlock in Halo: Reach are purely cosmetic

So, no I wouldn't play them more because of that.

Uncharted 2 multiplayer had x4 XP over the New Year. Level 1 to level 39 in a day. Damn good fun it was too.

I think Red Dead Redemption had a double experience weekend.

Maybe, depends on how into the game I am. If I'm not super into it, I'm not going to play it more just because I get more XP, and if I really like it, I'm going to play it regardless of whether there's more XP or not.
