Hello.
I finished DA: Inquisition as a elf Mage and enjoyed it greatly. Now I was thinking of doing the regular thing I do with RPGs and do the whole thing again doing the opposite of what I did in my first playthrough. So, imploring those who have already played the game as a warrior or rogue, which class is better/more fun to play as in inquisition? And which race would you recommend to go with these classes?
I have played as a Mage and DW rogue in origins and a 2H Sword warrior and Mage in DA2, however, the battle system's a bit different in this one.
So, in short, are rogues or warriors more fun to play as in DA:I?

Speaking as someone who has played both warrior and rogue, I prefer the rogue. Now I will say that the combat is a bit more nuanced as a warrior, and since you will be spending 90% of your time in combat, that may be something to consider. However, my archer rogue is heaps of fun, and I love being able to 1 shot most normal enemies (and even if I don't kill them, they are going to sleep for 20 seconds).

It's easier to run a party with no Rogues than it is to run a party with no Warriors, especially on higher difficulties. That being said, you can freely respec your party members, so I'd say it comes down to which characters you like more. Personally, I'd say roll Rogue, since all three Warrior characters are pretty great, while two of the Rogue characters are annoying (Sera and Cole), while Varric is weak in combat (due to Bianca not being able to keep up with regular weapons).

If you do happen to roll a Rogue, then take Tempest as you specialization when the time comes, it's easily the most overpowered of the three.

Rogue is harder and honestly very meh until you get your specialization. After that it's insanely fun and powerful, but you will either be flipping around like Sonic the Hedgehog on a speedball or dying constantly.

Archer rogue is a lot easy and gets VERY powerful later on. Still very squishy though.

Warrior is interesting. Go straight tanky and you can stack your party with Vivy for her OP specialization, Cole/Sera for some occasionally cool/funny dialogue and Dorian (who is just awesome).

Or go dps and absolutely wreck face while still being nigh unkillable.

Essentially - rogue more engaging and fun if you like being active or dead. Warrior more fun if you like rolling over everything.

I'd say Rogue. It has faster placed action.

It also gives you the ability later on to do the sickest uppercut, sending enemies flying on their ass.
