Poll: Dragon Age Origins - Which companion did you romance?

I've only played through the game once, mostly because the thought of having to do the Deep Roads again makes me very, very sad, and that time I went with Morrigan. That said, the only reason I did that was because I typically go for the Leliana-type (You know what I mean - Liara in Mass Effect, Dawn Star in Jade Empire, etc...) in BioWare games, and didn't want to do it again for the umpteenth type. I still personally prefer Leliana as a character, and regret my decision, but still, what's done is done.
Your poll is missing a slot...you know, for those who banged everybody. Except Sten, Shale, and Dog cuz two required armor and one was just wrong.
I've romanced them all over play-throughs but tend to default to Leliana most of the time. She just feels 'right' to me no matter what race or gender I am playing as, she fits the best into the Warden's story arc.

Zevran didn't believe me when I said I'd kill the shit out of him if he tried to kill me for the Crows.
And Leliana didn't really like it when I desecrated the remains of her god-figure. Or my Virulent Plague parting gift.

I feel like I made the right choice. She's an interesting enough character where I felt good about the decision.

Both? And the it all ended well when my rogueish nobleman ascended to the throne and leliana would not make the marriage a sham. Morrigan seemed to have no qualms about this. And it all ended rather well.

I romanced all of them but my two favorites are Alistair and Morrigan. Mainly because of how they act towards it. I like having my female warden be blunt about romance to Alistair and watch as he clams up in both embarrassment and shyness.
I like how Morrigan treats it as a fling at first but then starts to get attached and starts to become scared of it. Mainly that is how I feel I will react if I ever get into a relationship.
I am disappointed that I could not romance Oghren because I think he would have been a fun romance option. If Oghren is in the next Dragon Age he needs to be able to be romanced by a female character.

My Warden lost his virginity to Morrigan, but ended up with Leliana by the time the quest was over.
After that when i played Mass Effect i went for Tali. Just something about those girls with accents in BioWare games, man >_>

My female wardens always seemed to go for Zevran because well, he's ridiculously Awesome.
My Elvish male wardens however went to Morrigan because the idea of the next Tevinter worshiped old god to be born being Half Dalish makes me a VERY happy man.

I have to say, I initially hated him and found his constant flirting and wisecracking intensely annoying. I'm not surprised he's really low on this poll.
Then I kind of realized that I wasn't annnoyed by the character, I was annoyed because I'd (perhaps mistakenly) assumed that I was expected to find all this behavior "cool" and appealing. Once I got past that and realized that I was probably meant to see it as slightly pathetic, I found Zevran was actually quite an attractive character. He's a bit cliched in that he's essentially the same old "project" archetype which is very common in male love interest characters, but it's not half-arsed. He has experienced genuine pain, and his way of dealing with it very believable.
The one fault with him, in fact, is that he seems to have spawned a whole genre of wisecracking emotionally stunted gimboids who now infest Bioware RPGs.

I usually go for Morrigan. I don't dislike Leiliana, I just go for Morrigan more often than her. FemWarden, I usually go for that loveable rogue Zevran (it's the accent, who doesn't want a Spanish-accented assassin elf?) and force Alister to hook up with the Queen. Whines too much for me.
Playing DAO for the first time ever since a few weeks ago. Romanced Morrigan all the way to doing the nasty, now building my Leliana-meter. Can you actually spend the night with both of them?
First time? Leliana. It was what felt natural, and at that point I actually had no idea how romances were set up in the game.
Second time? Leliana... accidentally, due to a bug (so not really). Broke up with her (</3) and went with Zevran, as I'd intended.

off topic, but Bioware is actually pretty good at making bro characters. I mean the the biggest bro.in gaming are from them, Garrus Vakarian, and Alistair is an awesome bro too. Plus, their romances are pretty cool too.
