You know when you're dreaming and suddenly you realize it? Are you aware you can channel your dream into what ever possible thing you can imagine? You really can. Perfect virtual reality created in your head. It's nearly impossible to keep the dream world stable though. Before I woke up this morning I was able to stabilize my dream world for about, "oh", a good five seconds, but half was transforming the dream world. So I ask you you, what's the longest stretch of time you've been able to dream well being aware its a dream?

I have realized sometimes I was dreaming and tried to influence my dream based on that. Other times I am in the middle of a night mare when I realize the situation is so BS that I refuse to participate and wake up.

Acually, dreams are just memory replaing in your head the way you want. All it does is take some of your memory and puts it into a scenario that would play out excacly like it would, of course in you own disposition twords other people though.

O.T. I can manipulate my dreams quite well, I don't know how but its fun to have things go my way for once...

I can realise i'm dreaming, but i can hardly influence my dreams. I don't quite remember manipulating them outright.

Usually when I realize that I'm dreaming I wake myself up. I haven't really mastered the whole altering-everything-part of it. And I don't know how to track time when I'm dreaming...

I'm usually along for the ride and honestly don't see a difference between dream and reality (at least at the time, I'm not that psycho :p). I usually only realize it's a dream if it's really bad, in which case I wake up instantly just to get out of it.

I can visit my subconscious every once in a while, though in no way I control. I just get a very lucid and recurring dream at random. It's really interesting to see how the back of my head presents itself, actually. I can actually talk to my 'muse' there. She's a nice girl.

It's called 'lucid dreaming', and you can learn to do it quite well. There are a couple of guides floating around the 'net. Highly therapeutic by all accounts. Could never get the patience to learn it, but it's something I plan on doing.

Furthest I got was voluntarily flying. Then I woke up.

I'm learning dream control for a while. Its not that hard if you know how and you can pretty much do it while meditating. I know people who know a lot about dream control, astral projections, seeing auras and stuff like that, it's truly amazing. You all should try out those things.

Cracked.com recently had an article on lucid dreaming.
They linked to this website explaining more and learning you how to do it.
According to those people, when you start to realise that your lucid dream is about to end, you should make yourself spin around in your dream. The sensation of dizziness should keep the dream going. I'm trying that out next time I have a lucid dream.

Kazaa for Lucid Dreams! I'm capable, but more often then not, I like being a passenger on the ship that is my dreams--It's more fun to see what my unconscious mind comes up with, rather than my conscious one, since I can do that bit while awake.

I realized I was dreaming once and re-enacted the book of Genesis.

It was fun.

Then I set the whole thing up like Minas Tirith.

More fun.
