Yup, Driver's making a comeback.


For those that don't know, Driver is a (get this) driving game (OMIGOSHNOWAI!!!) with a mission-based stucture that started on the original Playstation. This trailer is supposed to be reminescent of the tutorial from the first game.

Driver: You Are The Wheelman was pretty good. It was simple in it's design, arcadey in it's gameplay, and fun overall.
Driver 2 introduced on-foot controls and carjacking to the series, but it was okay at best.
Driver 3 (or Driv3r as their marketing would tell you) was total shit. Lousy controls, bugs and glitches everywhere, and rubberband AI made this one of the worst games of the last generation.
I have yet to play Driver: Parallel Lines, but thanks to this reveal, I just might.

Soooo...anyway, thoughts?

My day has just been made.

It's about damn time, I was wondering if we were ever going to see the Driver series show up again. I'll reserve judgement until I see some gameplay, but I'm excited there's a new Driver game in devlopment.

I just hope it's a little more Driver 1, 2 and Parallel Lines, and a long way away from Driver 3.

Saw this earlier on this morning. Havnt played one since Driver 2. Seems I havnt missed much.
