Poll: Duke Nukem of Master Cheif

Master Chief is the perfect hero. He is the living incarnation of hope and humanity.

The Duke is an overly macho tool. Sure he is funny and fun to play as, but he is an Anti-Hero. In general Anti-Heroes suck. I'm going to save the world even though I treat the world like crap/don't care about it... what a storyline.

Oppose that to Master Chiefs story. Humanity has lost every single battle against the covenant. Planet after planet is being glassed leaving billions dead in the wake. Extinction is all but assured for humanity. All of a sudden a story pops up in the front page of the newspaper. Victory. That one word changes the resolve of the entire human race, and gives humanity that most important of emotions. Hope.

Erm, in Duke Nukem every man on earth is either dead or a pig cop, the duke does all that on his own.

Also I don't think you know what an anti hero is (don't feel bad, most comic book writers get it wrong too) An anti-hero is someone that fights for what's right but is bitter and cynical about it, they believe in justice but they have little faith in the system, they are heroes that act unheroically, the Duke may well qualify but claiming that Anti-heroes don't make for good stories is just erroneous.

who would you rather have saving ur ass from an alien Invasion, who is more bad-ass

First you misspelled Chief.
Second The Duke went out without power armour, without genetic enhancements, without back up and he cleared out the entrie alien population by himself.
The Chief on the other hand had Genetic enhancments, high tech power armour, an entire planet worth of space marines at his back AND STILL the earth gets totally reamed, I think the Duke's won this one.

I have played both halo and duke nukem and I have to say Master Chief would kick Dukes ass. Case Closed.
