These games demonstrate that you can have movie quality like content within a game and take it further, make it unique and it'll last a lot longer than a film.
I know theres a market for it, but how many law suits do you think are going to come out of this game "having a laugh" is going to cause? Everyone with their brand stamped on this are walking a tight rope about this - if its as bad as it could be, then bankruptcy is not a far fetched idea.
Ok, I actually disagree with quite a lot of that. lol
I don't know how you arrived at the majority of players being 16, it just looks way off. Considering that the demographic of FPS players is very wide nowadays, and especially since 16 is very young for one that plays video games, statistically speaking.
Now, saying that a game has "movie-like quality," that's a bad thing. That's a very bad thing for a video game. Not that there's anything wrong with movies. To make a video game into a movie or try and model it after one, is a step down. A step down from what it could be or should be. One of my pet peeves in video games would be when they show an awesome cut-scene where my character does something epic, well, why can't I do that.
If you go to amazon and have a look around, you can actually find a lot of books on rape, and rape fantasy. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that all books are going to be painted as supportive of rape or even seen as how-tos of rape, because A: They don't represent all books, and are just a few amongst a massive sea of books - B: They're completely fantasy land, fake. If anyone does jump up and down over it, they'll mostly be seen as either fear-mongers or out of touch with reality, e.g. the fox news story on it.
