So Ngmoco recently released "Eliminate" for the iPhone and Ipod Touch. It's an FPS whcih utilizes the platform's touch screen to turn the bottom corners into virtual joysticks, which you use to move around and aim at people. There's an option to turn on "auto-fire", which will make your gun fire whenever you point it near an enemy, making the only tactic in this game "run around an point". There are 6 weapons, from the lowly machine gun to the infamous and deadly vaporizer, as well as 8 upgrades for your armor. You unlock these by leveling up and earning enough credits to buy them.
The only downside of this free game is the power cell system. Your suit stores enough energy to fight for three rounds before you must recharge, which you can wait about 4 hours for or just pay a dollar for 20, $10 for 240, or $30 for 975. You can, technically, get to level 50 in this game and buy every item and upgrade, but it'll take you a hell of a long time.
