Poll: Eminem. Yes or No?

Well, some of his lyrics are hilarious. I've actually bought some Eminem CDs in the past (mostly for that reason, because he's funny, not because I particularly like rap) but I never listen to them anymore these days. I guess I outgrew it.

Yes, he can actually rap, and the ones that are not meant to be funny, they are serious, and i like those ones. He seems to put a lot of passion into it.

You couldn't be more wrong on this point.

As far as I'm concerned, Eminem was good and interesting in the Slim Shady LP and the Marshall Mathers LP. Since then he's more or less just produced pop music and bad hip-hop, with good songs very few and very far between, mostly because rapping about his 'problems' after he became a multi-millionaire felt disingenuous, and he doesn't really have a lot else of substance to offer. I did like 'Lose Yourself' a lot though.

The only other white rappers I know are Polish and they all suck when compared to Eminem.

Besides, I like his old songs. Even Stan, though it's not, humorous like The Real Slim Shady or Without Me.

Well, he is the only awesome white rapper I know of, so definitely yes.

You guys should try listening to Aesop Rock sometime.

I would say that but am not equipped with my flame shield today. Loads of fans of other rappers that are jealous.Its like I listened to em's song on youtube (Im not afraid). 1600+ likes and 2 dislikes at that time with about over 1mil views. A comment that made me laugh was "2 dislikes?! Must be Lil Wayne and *some other rapper*"

I actually do like Eminem. He puts a lot of emotion into his songs and tells a story with each one. And if you want to compare him to other rappers, listen to Forever. It's Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and then Eminem. His is by far the best, and I'll often skip to the end of the song just so I can listen to his.

Hehe, I think he sounds alot different too.

I mean, compare Candy Shop (ewww) to let's say Slim Shady.
