Why is there no decent "other" option?

I drink supermarket brand energy drinks.
Care to specify?
Sure, the reason I didn't is because I think almost none of you will know these supermarkets, because I don't think you have them in the US. I usually get my energy drink from Albert Heijn and sometimes from Aldi.
It's about 4 times cheaper than Red Bull, I think (and I don't really think it tastes very different).

First of all, energy drinks don't do a damned thing for me energy-wise, but I actually manage to enjoy a few for the taste. Monster Khaos and most of the Monster Java series are pretty good, and I find myself enjoying Venom even though it tastes horrific.
I used to love Rockstar Juiced but none of my usual haunts carry it anymore.

this is my story. the story of how I drank energy drinks and lost. I lost horribly. ill make the intro quick. i frank energy drinks got an eight cm kidney stone. then....welll. buckle up.

I had to have invasive kidney surgery on a kidney stone that had started to grow into my ureter(thing between kidney and bladder). the surgery involved taking a laser strapped to a camera and sticking it inside my penis and weaving it through my insides to reach the kidney where they lasered(technical term) it into as small of pieces as possible making it feel like ground up glass. The surgery was supposed to take an hour and a half at the most. Mine took over three and a half hours. I wake up in my room and stumble into the bathroom. I try to pee and my knees buckle from the pain of passing finely ground stone through my very sore penis. My head smashes against the toilet and I pass out.

Three weeks later I have to go get the stint removed. this involves shooting a numbing agent into my penis then folding over the tip and clamping it shut with a clip. It was numb so it didnt actually hurt physically, just psychologically. They then had to go back inside with a camera to take the stint out. Like I said penis was numb, insides were not. I would describe the pain as feeling like your being stabbed from the inside out. I could literally feel the camera inching its way through my insides until it got to the stint where the doctor had to manually maneuver the camera to unhook the loops holding the stint in and then yank it back out.

Im very sorry you had to go through that much pain but this is precisely the reason your not supposed to drink to much.
It sucked but I survived. the thing about kidney stones that make them something you want to avoid getting is how they are formed. The more bad shit you take in the more sediment ends up in your kidneys then when you get dehydrated it causes the sediment starts to clump together. If your drinking something like an energy drink(which dehydrates you) then the sediment will continue to clump together in a mass that will eventually try to work itself out. the kicker is that energy drinks are full of the chemicals that tend to find there way down to your kidneys. those cans are just a Molotov of fuck you juice at the end of the day.

It's called "Golden Power" and it's in a green/metallic colored can with golden letters and a red lightning bold (you can Google it).

I rarely drink energy drinks, but that's because i want them to have maximum effect on my system.

So let's say i'm feeling starved for some action, i go out and buy a huge can of monster (cuz it has the biggest impact on me) and spend 3 hours killing mythological monsters in GoW.

I LOVE RED BULL!!!

Every day at 7:30 i am getting into my local OXXO and buying a Red Bull (355 ML), something to eat (can be bread, tuna, watever) and a pack of smokes

i drink my Red bull all the way to work, get into my desk, eat my food, drink the rest of my red bull and step out for a minute to grab a smoke

thats my way of starting the day

when there is no Red Bull i buy one of this babyes

its much healthyer than Red Bull, and tastes a little better

but i love RED BULL

oh! and to drink with alcohol, i mix BOOST with anything, but with Jagermaister (or however you spell it) is the best

BUT I LOVE RED BULL!!

did i mentioned that???

:D:D:D:D X)X)X)X) XDXDXDXD X3X3X3X3 *splodes!*

It might taste like every other energy drink, but I'll be damned if it doesn't have the most kick-ass logo.

Cheap ones. Like Rhino. Preferably with vodka in it. Why on earth should i care about the brand? It tastes all the same anyway. So i normally go for the cheap ones because for example Red Bull is sold for MUCH CURRENCY although I assume production costs only a few cents. If at all. That's why they can afford Formula-1-teams, air races, soccer clubs and sending me free lifestyle magazines. Because there are enough dumb people to support it.

I think they are wholly unnecessary. Water is just fine, maybe gatorade, for energy. Coffee for keeping you awake.

I can stay awake fine without any crutch though so it doesn't matter to me. But energy drinks, I just don't care for them.

Feh, these all taste like chemistry sets in a can. I prefer Bawls, thought there isn't much energy to it, at least it doesn't have anything pushing fluids through my liver faster or affecting my heart. It's very sugary though.

never hear that about coke drinkers, and besides you really really over did it if you had to have invasive surgery

Bawls to me tastes like a bottle of watered down 7-up, it's not bad but i'm not going out of my way to buy it

I hate all three of those. The only ones I drink are Bawls and Venom. I rarely drink them because they're expensive and don't do that much for me. Although, 5 Hour Energy is actually pretty good.
