As an Xbox 360 owner, the RRoD debate needs to crawl away and die (and I actually had the RRoD myself...). But really, ALL OF THEM need to die! Seriously, I'm sick of seeing threads about literally all of those topics...

Where is "All of the above" option? It's the only sensible one. Now if you excuse me, i must retreat to Siberian wilderness, dig a 50 - meter deep shaft, then a tunnel for another 50 metres, cover said shaft with a fat slab of concrete, and wait. Have fun getting flamed and burning to death.

Postscriptum. Your caustic nihilism undermines your credibility.

I'm sorry I couldn't put anymore options on the poll. I like debates too, but I also like people to grow up. Thanks for the comment though. Did you ask your parents before going online?

^this^

Your pretentious tone makes you sound more like a comic book villain out to rid the world of all it's differences and originality rather than a Moses leading the lost through the desert. For me the first alarm went off whenever you suggested that man is inherently evil. I'm sorry, but this shows you have a very immature and narrow minded view of both 'man' and 'evil'. Man is inherently a lot of things, and sometimes their priorities become quite askew (ie: sense of survival is perverted into exorbitant greed), but we're hardly devils incarnate.

Second of all and finally on topic, I do not believe that any of these debates should end, nor should any debate. I will agree that they go too far, and people eventually miss the entire point of stating dissatisfaction with certain things, but to end them would be foolish. Seriously, the list of topics above makes you look like a public relations representative for the big three. You do realize that you are essentially asking people to stop voicing their opinions on why they were unhappy with something, right? And I'm sure you can see that this is the kind of attitude that leads to violations of a person's right to freedom of speech. And of course it should be obvious that wishing others would shut-up simply because you disagree is the equivalent of a child plugging their ears and obnoxiously chanting like a drunken hobo.

My suggestion to you would be the same suggestion I give to anyone else with similar frustrations: kindly leave. You are not forced to read anything, nor are you required to watch anything. If you don't like it, then you are by no means being forced to stay. So, as a great big mature adult amongst all us children, you are welcome to do the great big mature thing and take your leave.

Where is the option for:

"PC gamers are the intellectual elite and everyone who plays games on anything else is a blight on humanity who needs to be dispatched to the Dachau concentration camp and euthanized"?

Console war. Definitely.

Endless youtube flame wars are only entertaining for so long (see: not at all)

Exactly I hate that too because I can never read a single thread without reading one of these comments.

All of them?

I'd say console wars most, though. They all need to disappear and leave games where they are made and where they belong: On the PC.
I'm gonna need you to step out you ignorant clod.

Yes I voted all of the above, and I would like to add "videogames receiving controversy for violence/sex/"controversial topics"/etc". Seriously, it really pisses me off how videogames like Six Days In Fallujah got so much hate and unapproving lashback when movies and TV shows have shown much worse and are allowed to pass.

Good job, Skully boy, I agree with you, fully.

I observe no hardcore or casual crowd. If the game is fun the game is fun(which is subjective).

I'd like to see it all die off, as well, but it won't because humans have to divide themselves into little factions to achieve a feeling of belonging in a society.

Yah, that's exactly my point.

I said all of them... Those threads sometimes start out as a real discussion on an issue, but very quickly turn to just a flame war.

Are you sure you quoted the right comment? How can it be ignorant when I don't state any facts and how does it have to do with controversies such as "Six days in Fallujah"?
The example I gave wasn't directed at your post, I was giving an example of the BS that games face.

I just called it ignorant because the thread is about debates that need to die yet you made a PC elitist comment. Don't take it personally I just have zero tolerance for those type of comments *shrugs*.

I voted all of the above. I don't think the arguments themselves should die, if it has any chance of changing someone's mind, aiding a descision or producing some results then even better unto it. But all the 'tards(No offense to the mentally or physically handicapped, you're better than that) who flame each other and seem to ignore reason and such... Yeah, not gonna stop. I still think it should.

:O No, I did not. I hope they're not upset.
