Poll: Escapism Melbourne 2010

Now we all know that soon our fellow Australian escapians in Sydney will be getting together and having a little get together, but Sydney is a long way away for some people. And it has come to my attention that there may be allot of Victorians here. And with this in mid i have begun to consider organizing as escapism here in Melbourne. But the problem is i don't know very many of you.

So the question is, would there be many people interested in having something in Melbourne this year?

I would love to come, but chances are school will be on then, and I doubt my parents would let me travel interstate to hang around with people I talk to on the internet. Perhaps in a few years time when I'm 18.

That's my thinking, i was going to bump around lunch time. And i'm going to aim for the holidays to avoid the school things. AS for interstate. I have to think about that.

I am curious to how many Aus users there are here at the escapist. It sounds fun, but count me out for the reason i live BAZZILION miles away.

There are quite allot of us, i just don't know how many are close to Melbourne, hence the poll. And being a bazzilion miles away is no excuse!

Yes, that's why I chose that title as opposed to "New York Escapicon" or something to that effect.

Melbourne is a lot easier for me to get to then Sydney. But then... anonymity is at stake, so maybe not such a good idea. Undecided at this stage.

Well id like to aim for a long weekend to avoid just that. This weekend would be perfect but its to late for that.

Well i think we have enough interest to say that it is going ahead. When we have a date i will make it known. Expect it to be either a long weekend or some time in July.
