Yes, it's that time of the year again, the time when those of us too immature to do anything else dress up in strange clothes and make great fools of ourselves*. The time of year when we either attempt to emanate people, fictional or no, who we aspire to be...or just puzzle everyone we know.
"We know this, you silly person" you are likely saying. "But that doesn't explain why you have a spiky blond-haired guy as an avatar**." Well, let me explain***; It's sort of like a costume.
"But Log...Logici? Logimnoey? Cloud Strife, Logician Extraordinaire? Whatever; It's the fourth of October. Halloween is still about a month away. You're just being silly." My response would bey, "Yes, but doing it for one day on a website would be boring. Besides, I did this a couple years ago [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.73996-Poll-Escapist-Halloween-Costumes] and it went pretty well, so I figured I'd do it again."
I suppose what I'm saying is that you should change your Avatar to reflect the season by making it something it isn't, not really. I think it'll be fun.
