Poll: Escapist Mobile

Its a good idea, not that I'd be able to use it. My phone's internet is primative (it is nearly four years old, after all), so even a stripped down mobile-friendly version would probaly still blow it up.

As someone else said, a PS3 version on the other hand...

I'd like to see a mobile version of the site. The front page and even the forums have a lot of media, so the speeds can be abyssmally slow.

If there was an app for $0.99 to push forums/article updates, I'd buy it

Although my opinion is a bit more complex, the "nerds should stay indoors" reflects my feelings on the matter. Going on the internet is something that you can do when you're at home. I've always felt going online using your phone is stupid (no offense to anyone who does).

Yes, that would be very handy. I often browse this site from my PS3 and it could definitely use a mobile site. You will know why if you have ever tried to use the PS3 browser...
I use the mobile Facebook on my PS3 too, for the same reason. Plus it doesn't work very well with normal facebook.

I'd love to be able to post and chatter away on good ol' escapist whilst waiting for a bus, or on a bus. (i take a lot of buses)
Long car (or bus) journeys would no longer be a burden on me, after all music can only do so much right?

The only thing i can think of is that it would require manpower and therefore money to make a mobile version of the site. Despite this however i do believe that there are people who would use it regularly.

Don't most forums have a light-bandwidth version? Wouldn't that be mobile friendly enough? If so, why not implant that here?
