So we are all part of the webste of the escapist, of course, but us members don't acually have a name as our own.

What I mean is we could be an "Escapist", or we could be an "Escapie", like each and every member would be called an Escapist or Escapie whenever a fourum need it like

My fellow Escapists, what do you think, or My Fellow Escpapies, what do you think.

Now this may sound confusing with what im trying to say, or it could just ring the silver bell.

Down to the point, what would you all like to be called, Escapists, or Escapies.

I personaly like Escapies, it just sounds a little cooler.

It has always been Escapist, and there used to be a collective noun...

Something like a Lynch or something. A Lynch of Escapists.

Escapies, because if said fast, sounds like a STD.

"why are you itching so much?"

"I got escapies"
I don't think we should change the name BECAUSE of that reason. I mean really, what the hell is up with people changing the names of things?!?!
Pizza Hut transformed into just "The Hut"
The SciFi channel changed it's name to "SyFy" It sounds like a fucking disease!
I mean seriously! Stop it!
Just fucking stop it!

Escapist or Escapee (pronounced escape-ee) IMO.
Escapie seems to be meant to be pronounced Esca-pie, which sounds quite stupid.

I think 'The Escapist' sounds better than 'The Escapies', because the latter sounds like some bad 80's film.

It's escapists, and always has been.

Although, I like to be creative, if someone's from Australia, I'll refer to them as ausiescapists, or if there from Europe, euroscapists, and NA ameriscapists.

By the way, those are all trademarked.

"Escapie" sounds like the partner to "Escaper," one who escapes, which would make us the people someone is escaping from. I like "Escapist" because it sounds closer to "Escapism" which is always a cool word. Makes you sound smart. :D

Why don't we call ourselves chinchillas and just confuse everyone?
This idea takes the first prize. I´m with you.

Escapee, obviously. Escapie sounds like an irritating pet name.
"Escapie" reminds me of a pie shaped like The Escapist. Not a good name, makes me hungry.

I thought this has already been decided. It's Escaparino, duh. Well at least that's what Russ calls us.

Escapie? I just don't think it sounds serious enough. And since it is Escapist Magazine People who read it should be escapists

I like the "Escapist" name more. It also already seems to be the top pick.
