Poll: Escapist Quizzes

Escapist Quizzes... am I the only one that doesn't bother reading the actual text and just looks at the pictures? I have more luck with just looking at the pictures.

...Just wondering.

And while we are at it: how many quizzes do you take?

I just got 10/10 in the newest quiz. I'd seen about 4 of the movies, and heard of 9 of my answers. I'm just that good (also the pictures definitely make it easier, to the point that I don't always trust them to be the right answer).

I take most of the quizzes that pop up. If it's something I'm fairly knowledgeable about then I usually kick ass at it. Movies especially (i.e. I found the current quiz to be very easy).

All of them I think since I also took the ones that were out after I had signed up to this site.

I take every quiz, but I only take it once and live with whatever score I get.

I don't see the point of achieving 100% via multiple attempts, because it's not really much of an achievement when you already know the answers.

The same can be said for people who get 100% but take so long it's obvious they looked up the answers, or people who get 100% in their first time in less time than it takes to read each question, because it's obvious they had a practice run with an alternative account, then took the test on their main account and hit the correct answer as quickly as possible.

The top scores in these quizzes are a battle of reaction times and internet connections.

I take them whenever I'm not totally out of my element.

I do every single one as they come out. I don't deliberately seek them out, I just notice a new one is up every week and proceed to take 5 minutes to complete it.

Well, so far one. I think they're neat. But I did mostly just look at the pictures and see how fast I could complete it. I only got 9/10.

I take them every so often, and I usually do fairly well. Some just baffle me beyond anything I can imagine. Also, how the hell are there people who score 10/10 in as little as 30 seconds? I've never understood how someone could do that well. On the one's I scored 10/10 on, I finished in what I thought was a reasonably quick time, and yet those guys are still there?

I used to take them every week. I was even the Escapist "Quiz Master" for a year or two. Hell, two of my featured 5 badges are quiz badges. But when I stopped badge hunting, I stopped taking them. I mean, if I'm not going for the badges then why bother? (Absolutely no offense intended to the person or people responsible for the weekly quizzes)

I'd like to know how some people can complete them in less than 30 seconds. Even if I know the answers it takes roughly a minute just to load the questions.

I tend to do most of them to pass the time.
And yeah, I have noticed a recent trend where the picture is always the right answer.
