North west of England, Bolton (it could be worse)
Yeah, you could live in Blackpool >.> Like me...
I like a day out or even a weekend, but after that what is there to do in Blackpool? see the sea again?
Well to be fair they've just re-built the promenade and it looks a lot nicer. But honestly, besides going on the beach/prom for a day and maby going to the Pleasure Beach or Sandcastle waterpark,I really can't think of anything else remotely fun or interesting to do. Unless of course you like smelly nightclubs filled with 50 year old cougars and groups of men dressed like batman and what not >.<

I've seen a lot of discussions about what people thought of country X and responses from inside and out so I got curious - what is the general region diversity of people on this forum?
Personally, I'm from Canada and proud of it.
Oh man! I totally called it! :D I'm pretty sure it's mostly Canadians who are concerned about "oh god, am I the only Canadian here?" which was the motivation I assumed was behind this poll... maybe I'm wrong and I only think this because I am Canadian and I worry about that all the time on the Internet...

I'm from Toronto, but we're kind of hoping you'll forget about hating us given the recent events in Vancouver.

USA, or more specifically, Wyoming. We're known for coal, Yellowstone, and being one of the four states people think of when they think, "Middle of nowhere" The other three I usually hear are Nebraska, North Dakota, and Oklahoma.

Me and Robin Hood are bros, we steal from the rich and give to the poor, but only on weekends.

America. It's the fourth today (Independence Day), which typically means lots of red meat and explosives. However, since I live in central Texas, an area that is currently under a burn ban due to the recent lack of rainfall, I'm not going to get to use any fireworks this year. :(

My dad's still grilling out, though, so there's that. I also plan to watch the utterly ridiculous Roland Emmerich movie that shares its name with this holiday.

It's kind of a tradition.

Wales.

If you haven't heard of it, it's in the UK.

If you have heard of it, sheep and rugby.
No love for Harry Secombe? A pity.

You had an extra poll option... now I know Africa is a crap place with very few voices on the internet, but really, are we that unimportant that even with the extra poll option you saw no reason to put us in?

South Africa.

It would have as many votes as Asia at this rate, but we don't get an option. 2nd poll IN TWO DAYS to do this. Geography people, and recognition that this place exists. Jeesh...
A rather large omission that, I think you and South America should get together. OP should have lumped all of North America together and all of Europe, then South America and Africa could have been included.

Australian here, specifically a Melbournite, but I was born down the road in Geelong.
The scary thing is, this is the second poll that has completely left out the African continent, and both this and the last had an extra space left 0.0
And the last poll completely left out Oceania too... can no-one make fully inclusive region polls?

I still think that:

North America
South America
Europe
Asia
Oceania
Africa
An island not affiliated with any continent
Other? (No internet in Antarctica XD)

Would be a better poll. All eight options used, no-one should have to use other.

Britannia. Or England, specifically. West country. Hell yeah.

It's nice to see that Western Europe is winning.

I from the UK (Wales to be exact) so I guess that would be Western Europe for me.
