Poll: euthanasia within games.

All of us must have commited euthanasia with in the games we play (killing out of kindness), but is it because we care for the characters or because we like skull and brain fragments...

heres an annoying thing that happened to me. i was playing COD WAW on the second to last level on vetran, blisteringly hard spent hours and hours trying to beat it, and by the end of the level once all the nazi's are dead and a certain character is dying from a certain something (wont revaeal for spoilers) i felt bad for him and shot him as he was dying. then it yells "YOU HAVE BYTRAYED THE MOTHERLAND" and i had to do it all again! GRRRR Owned myself.

In CoD:WaW when someone I'm playing with is using a flame thrower and ignites a bunch of Japs, I yell to my other companions a great line from Saving Private Ryan.

"Don't shoot, let 'em burn."

That was in the cutscene you had no choice.

Doesn't mean it didn't happen.

In Far Cry 2, I Deagled everyone of my 'friends', miserable arses that they were. The only time I tried to kill someone out of compassion was Lucas Simms's son after I had gone genocidal on megaton with a flamer, his moping about his dead dad was the only time I have ever felt an emotion besides hate in my entire life. Damn ESRB put a foot in that one anyway.

I've killed alot of chars in games simply out of the pure bastardness deep inside my cruel little heart. Some though, I shot, beat, cut, whatever out of kindness . . . even convinced Saren to shoot himself. Which really was more a matter of saying "it doesn't have to be this way" and him going "oops, too late for me kthxbai *boom*"

After I killed everyone in Megaton in Fallout 3, just because I was an evil character, I felt really, really bad.

But there was this child walking around. As you know, you can't kill children. She(I think it was a girl, don't remember) just walked around town...It was actually quite depressing. So, after a few times seeing that, I installed a mod to kill children. I hated myself for doing it, but that poor girl. T_T
