I got a trial version on Eve and have heard alot of peoples opinions on it and the simple answer is that it is completely crap untill you hit the you've played for 2/3 months point and then it starts becoming a game thats worth playing and is really enjoyable. Personally if it takes a long time for a game to become fun then i'll go play my games for teh stupids peoples that dont require spreadsheets to play.
