I have once thrown a PS2 controller into the wall... Right above the aquarium. The fish got a new decoration that day.

No, not intentionally. Although I did once accidentally flick a Wiimote Nunchuk into my eye. I had a black eye for a while after.

Yup, on my bed, or to a friend when pad-passing. Never in anger though. And I drop controllers all the time. Sturdy Dualshocks can handle it.

Sure have. Back in the NES & SNES days I absolutely destroyed several controllers out of pure anger and frustration. The cool thing about doing so is that you feel awesome as soon as you do it! I recently threw my PS3 controller and bounced it sky high off my bed, not as rewarding as destroying a controller but damn it sure feels good to do it. Friggin Demon's Souls, that game can really get to you, especially after an all-nighter of drinking!

No, but I did once smash my Original Xbox controller against my Original Xbox in frustration as hard as I could. It cracked it extremely slightly, to the point it was barely see able. Xboxs are fucking tough.

Threw my Xbox controller from rage and frustration when playing Gears of War 2 online.

The controller was already half broken for some reason, and kept dying in the middle of the action.

So, I lost it.

I don't play Xbox games as much as I used to.

Haha yes, but not like you would expect.

I was playing high velocity bowling on the ps3, which requires you to hold the controller like a bowling ball and you throw your arm backwards and forwards to bowl (..)

As you may expect, the controller slipped and dented the wall. It survived though..

Yes, Sonic '06's glitches killing me for the 5,000th time made me smack the floor with it. That's why my PS3 controller is broken in such a way that the R2 button is always pressed slightly.
Not much of a problem usually, but it always makes my sackboy's arm stick at a funny angle when I'm on LittleBigPlanet.

I've stopped doing that sort of thing though. Kinda.
Well, the sofa just faces the wrath of my elbow every now and again.

Never, and not just because I don't play much on consoles. I just don't get angry at games (though Demon's Souls would probably succeed), and I only break stuff out of clumsiness.
My girlfriend on the other hand once stabbed my bed with a sword (mine), a bit accidentally she says..

I've thrown my controller maybe 3 or 4 times in frustration.

I remember once I was playing Crackdown on insane difficulty or what ever that option is where you kill all the gang leaders on highest difficulty in one go or whatever and I did it all and the achievement didn't unlock or else the save game randomly deleted (I can't really remember) and I kicked the TV and broke the av input prongs on the xbox cable.

I haven't thrown my pad, but one time on cod4 (a long time ago), the band of my headset was broken so I couldn't have it on my head, but I could hold it up to my head and use it. So it was midgame, and the headset was on the floor. I was killed in a manner I considered highly frustrating, and my friends, who I was playing with at the time, burst out laughing, as they could hear in the background me raging quite loudly (and with some colourful language) that my mic picked up despite being a good few feet away. So yeah that's my story.

Yes, it was due to a SNES game known as Killer Instinct. Tried to beat it on the hardest difficulty (I believe that was the 6 star difficulty) and got to the very last guy but he was a cheating whore. My friend and I went at him for like 3 hours on and off with much controller throwing. F***ing Idol.

For those who can remember the glory days of the NES, at that point, everyone I knew had thrown a controller at least once. They were indestructible, however. After games like Contra, TMNT, and the first (and by far most needlessly difficult) Castlevania, it was nigh impossible not to throw a controller. Great games that made for better gamers, but so painful achieving the skill level required to play, much less beat these games. At least on the Atari 2600, you could just walk away because they had no ending.

No, never thrown a controller through rage or otherwise. Anyway, whenever i lose repeatedly on a game, or have just had a devastating game over (i.e. 2 hours leveling without saving then get wiped out) i just give a dejected sigh and try again (help! I'm trapped in skinner's box!!!).
