To me this game looks very good and original (Using the time mechanic differently) and seems to be the middle ground between Bioshock (*choir of angels*) and COD4 (Meh). I liked COD's shooting system but the story was uninteresting and unoriginal to me, meanwhile it seems to have that atmosphere of creepy sci-fi and mystery. So what are your opinions on it?

It looks okay I guess. Doesnt look exactly groundbreaking but it looks like a fun little experience.

I like the idea of reverting an enemy to a fetus-thingy.
But that was all that really grabbed my attention.

I've only really liked time manipulation in Prince of Persia, but that's pretty different. This doesn't really seem that interesting. I'm gonna save my money for Brutal Legend instead.

The most recent dev-diary I saw of the game reminded me heavily of Bioshock. The graphics and the style of scenery look very similar, and there were even ghost-scenes - although, to be fair, it makes more sense having these in Singularity than in Bioshock.

I quite like the idea of time manipulation, though. It's a nice little twist on a mechanic that's been thrown around gaming quite a lot in the past, and the story sounds quite interesting.

But since it comes out early next year, I won't be paying it much attention. Instead, I'll have my eyes on Mass Effect 2.

Agreed. Even I thought the ghosts were unecessary in Bioshock.

Until it can prove to me that it's not just another FPS with a gimmick, I am not holding my breath.

Sounds like the spiritual successor to Timeshift personally, so ~meh. Timeshift was so-so.

Dunno. It looks pretty awesome, but then again, the new Wolfenstein made very, very little use of the whole "veil" too. So I think I'll give it a shot. It might turn out well, after all.

I think that no matter how mind blowingly above average it is, it'll still get burried beneath alot of other games.

Singularity and Crysis 2 are the only FPS games that I am interested in. I like singularity's concept and it's approach to the story as well. I do pray that it turns out to be a good game and a remotely enjoyable FPS. Kinda glad they pushed it back so it wouldn't be overshadowed by MW2, would have been sad to see what could be an awesome game get overshadowed by a shallow and generic FPS.

And that you can make, for example, a bridge or something rust and it will collapse, with your timeglove thingy.

Wasn't that just for specified things, though?
I can't imagine you could do that to everything.

I'm glad they pushed Bioshock 2 and Singularity back so they wouldn't get destroyed in sales but it still kind of sucks.
