The worst game ever is Fable 2. Lemme copy/pasta one of my old posts on this game....
Bad points of this game:-
1. RETARDED money making mechanics. A game should be fun. That is not only important, it is the entire point. Pressing 'A' in time to a moving circle going through a coloured line is not only repetitive and not fun, but it is also something that could have been done on a damn ZX81 in 1980. It wasn't. Do you know why? I'll give you 3 guesses, and also a clue - think of the word "utter crap".
2. Relationship micromanagment. This was tried in GTA 4, and it was universally hated. When we are playing a game we are doing so to have fun. Sometimes this is done by the gameplay, in others it comes from advancing the story forward. When, in a game, you are stopped from gameplay, and stopped from advancing the story, because your god-damn wife is threatening a divorce and wants you to go and burp in her face for 10 minutes it makes me wonder what the hell I am playing this game for. Before you say "ohh but you don't have to do that in this game!" Peter M trumpetted all this kind of crap as the next great thing in gaming and said that most of the game consisted of material outside the main quest... I.E. this stuff. So if even if you agree that this kind of crap is indeed crap, 90% of the game is crap.
3. Main quest. The 10% that consists of the main quest consists of this...
Do little childhood bit. Then grow up and go to heros guild.
Go to get hero 1, build up some renown, do quest, get hero.
Go get hero 2, build up some renown, do quest, get hero.
Go get hero 3, build up some renown, do quest, get hero.
Do minigame shooting bottles and kicking chickens. Not even doing it as this uber warrior you have just spent hours building up.
Find final bady guy for show down. Hold down the 'A' Button, win game.
Correct me if I am wrong, but that is considerably worse than the story of Fable 1. That is even worse and more simplistic than a Garfield cartoon.
4. Bugs. This game has some of the most cripplingly stupid bugs I have ever witnessed in a game. A Lionhead developer has actually posted work arounds on the offical forums to deal with some of them. Click. [http://community.lionhead.com/forums/thread/3188498.aspx]

Look at what happened to this guy. [http://community.lionhead.com/forums/thread/3230838.aspx] And due to Peter Ms hubris, the game won't let you back up saves. That would detract from his vision of a game so pure where every decision counts (not that anyone would play for fun or anything). So when you do get a bug that breaks your game, you have to start again.
5. Tedious. Every point I made makes the game fail, and makes it tedious. The worst crime any game can commit is to become tedious for the player. I am doing this to have fun, not to have the will to live sucked right out of me by soul-crushing tedium.
The hype of this game is directly proportional to how bad it is.
The game isn't as bad as you make out, there are others much worse. Its just unremarkable, its not so bad as to inspire a popular website devoted to its distruction, its not so good as to have people raving from rooftops.
If you really think its the worse game ever you need to play more, or you have a odd grudge.

Don't be silly. It is up to me what games I find good or bad. You can't tell anyone what to find good and bad, and if they find a particular game bad they "need to play more".

ok............... Good to get your side straight. What Sort Of Games Do You Like?????
To be honest I am not sure. I am missing the old PS 1 and 2 games. Simply getting a game, sticking it in the drive, and playing. None of this new fangled "profiles" and "gamer" shit. And no need for patching. I did rather like Fable 1 though.
Just a bit off topic did anyone feel that Fable 2 lost a lot of that folksy charm that the original Fable had? I don't know what but something about Fable 2 was just not as inviting as the original.
You have 20 posts.
Been here about a month.
When did you earn the right to be condescending?
He even apologized. No need to be a dick after that point.
Edit: Fable 1 was an over-hyped but enjoyable game with a few problems but a still very enjoyable story and combat system. Fable 2 built upon this, not entirely fixing the game but still making leaps towards a perfect game with such game devices as the economy and animal companion.
There's no poll. How to I vote in a poll if there isn't one? Pointless questions aside, I played Fable II at a friends house, and it was fun for a while. I would need more experience with it to have an informed opinion.
Fable II is one of those games that looks shiney and sounds groovy when you first shell out £40 to get it, you play through it and think it's ok, then you get towards the end of the campaign, the novelty has worn off and you want your money back.
I personally wouldn't reccomend this game to anyone (I wouldn't even tell my enemies to rent it).
No, but he came along without much contribution to the community and blasted someone who's just a bit foolhardy and eager.
Post count doesn't dictate opinion worth, but rather the intent of the message and overall posts worth does. In his case, there's not enough for him to abuse a new member. Not saying that someone with many, many insightful posts can go around dissing new people, rather that no one should. If the thread is bad it will get locked. If they troll they will get banned, plain and simple.
I actually liked the first fable better than the second haha. I dont think fable 2 is worth the money, mainly because 3 things: I had to work as a blacksmith for way too long, armor/clothing gave no stat bonus or even def bonus so it didnt have the RPGy feel that i love, and finally cause no matter how hard i tried i could not create a lesbian village filled with my character's wives. there just werent enough lesbians around. ok that last point wasn't really a good point, but yeah you get the idea.
