I have just read that fable III is going to be episodic, now i dont know about you guys but i think thats kinda lame and it also means anybody who buys it will more than likely end up paying more than £40/$60 for the game

Yes, although if its definately episodic, then I'll wait for a GOTYE version so I just get the entire package.

I've never played a "Fable" game before, and I don't intend to start now.
Fucking Peter Molyneux...

Yes, but it will be a very long way off. I did have Fable: The Lost Chapters on PC, but sold it a while back. I never played Fable 2. However, I'm now planning to get both the first and second games again at some point, so I'll eventually get Fable III as well, though it will be a long time after release before I actually do. Ah well, at least by that point the price will have probably gone down by a fair bit. Not really a fan of paying £40 for new releases, I always wait a while before I buy anyway... :)

I agree.

I never really liked Fable 2. I couldn't understand why, it's just more of the same right? It's bigger, better and more fun right? Nope, I just couldn't get into it, no matter how hard I try. I can play Fable multiple times, but the sequel was lost on me.

As such I'm not going to rush out to get Fable 3, I'll probably wait. Besides, I prefer to have my game all on one disc and in a case, none of this digital downloading rubbish.

That's bullshit. First I hear it uses Project Natal, and now it's episodic. What's wrong with releasing a single, simple, gimmick-free game? I'm so sick of Peter Molyneux and his pretentious 'innovative' mindset. I genuinely enjoyed both Fable:TLC and Fable 2, but I'm not going to get Fable 3. Some pompous ass developer had to ruin a good thing. I don't want to have to fork out for a useless fucking peripheral that I don't want, and buy mini-games every few months just so I can experience the game the way it was meant to be experienced. If I'm going to buy a game, I want to buy the whole fucking game, not part of it with the promise for more later.

/rant, and excuse the language.

PS: I'm not saying that what you said was bullshit. I was saying the developers choice was bullshit.

I Definately am, but I never buy new games anyway so the episodic thing don't really matter to me. I'll probably just pick it up for a tenner in a coupl'a years.

I heard that they were considering doing it episodically, I would like a link tbh all the stuff I have seen said they were thinking about it, just like they are THINKING about the PC port...

Nope. Molyneux decided to ditch my platform of choice with Fable 2, so in turn I ditch all his future games on all platforms. Also, episodic games never turn out good and end up costing you more...

Molyneux made some of the greatest games like Theme Hospital, Theme Park, Populous, Syndicate, Magic Carpet, Dungeon Keeper and Fable. So yeah, I will probably buy it.

Haters gonna hate.

Yes and there is discussion in the house over whether Theresa will be the main antagonist in this one

I assume you dont like valve, and there episodic expansions to HL2 then if you so clearly hate dlc's and episodics :D
I never really started out on Half-Life 2, so my feelings don't really run deep for me. Anyway, I don't so much hate the episodics as I hate some ass developer making things needlessly complicated.

I played Fable 1 and I loved it the second one not so much I will buy Fable 3 for the chance that it matches the first game if it doesn't I'm quite done with the series.
