Simple enough. I was wondering which one to get. I could get the newer New Vegas or Fallout 3 game of the year edition with all the DLC and stuff.
Which should I get?
I'd personally recommend the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3, for the fact that it's less glitchy, the atmosphere I find is better, it's a fine entry to the series and it has way more content.
Get Fallout: New Vegas when it's dropped in price and there is DLC.
Well FO3 will be cheaper now and all the patches of that game will be out as well as the DLC as you said.
However in my opinion FONV is a better game overall than FO3 but more exspensive and buggy at the moment at least until they release some patches for it.
I would go with either. Possibly try to get both in the end. I'd say FO3 now FONV later.
Both are EXTREMELY amazing games but new vegas takes the cake. Fallout 3 was kind of a stepping stone. New vegas is fallout 3 only better because they fixed all the mistakes made before.
Get the GOTY Fallout 3, lots of content and it's pretty much bug free. New Vegas is a better game IMO but it's too buggy right now to recommend a purchase.
I voted before reading this was a purchase topic, not a "which game is better" topic.
