My friend at Game Stop told me about a new fallout game coming in either late this year, or early next year. It's supposed to have the same gameplay and everything else as Fallout 3, only it takes place in Las Vegas. Look for it some time next year, Fallout New Vegas.

If it as good as Fallout 3, I will buy it after the prices drop...
Though it will probably take quite a while to be released in Australia, if it gets released here at all. :(

Probably a day-one purchase, and I'll certainly pre-order if there is a collector's edition or bonus associated with it.

By the way, Fallout: New Vegas isn't really quite Fallout 4. It's being developed by Obsidian (who are composed of several developers of the original games, including Chris Avellone), using Fallout 3's engine technology. You'd might call it a spin-off of Fallout 3, which many original fans consider to be a spin-off of the first two Fallout games. Yeah, fun. I'm expecting similar gameplay but with much, much better writing and role-playing elements (which, let's face it, are pretty much shit in Fallout 3).

Or you can just as easily call it a SEQUEL.

Oh btw, i'll definatly gonna buy it as soon as i get the money :(. That should have been an option too.

It's more complicated than that. Obsidian is a vastly different (and in some ways better) developer, for one, and will likely represent a much more faithful return to the series' roots. Bethesda are great for their own reasons, but there's no denying that Fallout 3 is very much The Elder Scrolls: Fallout as far as gameplay is concerned. People walking into New Vegas expecting more Fallout 3 may find themselves disappointed.

i will buy it but it must have some improvements and there must be a link with project and more purification and more about how it is with the rest of the world and more about the history

I'll probably buy it whenever I have the money... which is almost never.

I was going to say no, but if Obsidian is developing...maybe. I had serious issues with the Fallout3 storyline and RPG elements. It felt schizoid to me, wanting to be both a FPS and RPG and succeeding at neither. But I was a big fan of Fallout2 (which I consider the peak of the series) and the original. If members of that dev team are on the new Fallout, I might rent it. But if it has the same crap ending, flat characters, and monotone world as F3, I shall wash my hands of the series for good.

is it being made by Bethesda and do we get to have the style, Game Play and humor of Fallout 1 & 2 back?
