Hello, my fellow Escapees. Now, I'm in a bit of a pickle in the quest That Lucky Sun in FO:NV, more commonly knows as 'That bloody massive solar-powered laser thing' quest. Now, on my previous game, playing the neutral good alignment I always think I ought to be in real life, I picked to send power to everyone. However, this was before I knew you could us to it to power a space laser. Now, I'm trying to decide which is the more worthy cause; powering the homes of thousands of civilians, or owning a laser kill-satellite.

So my question is this; where did you send the power to, and why?

Meh, the killsat is cute and all, but not actually all that useful. You either end up catching yourself in the blast, missing, or using it for the occasional lol-killed-a-bloatfly-with-a-space-laser.

I always send it equally to everyone so I can get the big book of science from the follower inside, then again I am a dirty stat whore. I actually thought the space laser was useful for the alpha death law in the quarry but that's about it. Other than that it really isn't necessary unless you use it for a particular friends quest line.

wait, im the only one so far that picked space laser!
shame on you escapist's, sure its more efficient to just 1 shot everything with that hugely OP sniper rifle but killing random NPC's with a giant space laser is the most fun i've ever had in fallout.

oh wait the morality? eh fallout character's mean nothing to me, they are just pixels on a screen to be used for my amusement, if fallout did to its NPC's what mass effect did to them then i'd care but they are just faceless, mindless drones put in the game solely for me to ise as target practice for my giant space laser

Even if it is a buggy POS I always pick the laser. I can either have a few cheap giggles every once in a while... or nothing at all. All the other choices do nothing for NPC's I don't care about

Full Region because I always play moral choice games as a goodie two shoes.

(And the weapon system is one shot a day and full region gets you that big book o' science.)

I usually go with full region because I'm loyal to the Followers.

Sorry but I tend to pretend to care about other people in the games and I always choose full region. There are more efficient ways to one shot kill people in New Vegas. I know, I've done it.

I always activate the ARCHIMEDES because of the beautiful warm feeling I get knowing that I just left the destructive power of the sun concentrated in an orbital laser in the hands of an ignorant child running around pointing it at people.

Heck I'm giggling as I write this.

Side Note: Yes, I am a bad person

The Giant Space Laser is... kinda useless. I have Fatmans to take out hard enemies for a reason. Also the fact that it only works during the daytime... yeah.

I personally sent it to everyone to help score some followers rep - can get shit-tons of NCR rep easily, so an extra quest to get some is kinda useless.

The Space Laser. That one area with a fuckton of Cazadors, it comes in really handy.
I've found Flamers and Incinerators just rip Cazadors apart, even with no energy weapons skill... they aren't so deadly when they're on fire, it seems.
Well It's handy for when you come across a big nest of them, and they don't notice you lol so you just make them go KABOOOOM all at once

Wait till you get the laser off of that kid in Freeside. Then activate Archimedes. Just...don't bring Arcade with you when you do it.

The motherhumping SPACE LAZOR. It's so satisfactory blasting an entire encampment of raiders to bits.

Either McCarran and the Vegas Strip or Fremont and Westside. I usually go for the latter when I have Arcade Gannon with me so I can get closer to completing his companion quest and closer to his sweet, sweet Enclave Tesla Armour.

I always picked giving power to everyone. The needs of the many outway the wants of a potentially pschopathic Courier who wants to rain instant searing death upon his detractors.

full region everybody has the right to electricity and it might make the post-apocalyptic world a safer place.
