This is one of the best games I've ever played in my opinion. I wanna know how many other people think so, if you'd recommend it, and other things about the game. Any tip sharing and stuff is welcome. Aso, who has played the multiplayer enough to get a good sense of it?

The lack of local multiplayer alone already put me off buying it when I heard it wasn't featured.
The worst thing about it is all the user-created maps will be heavily unbalanced in the favour of whichever team the creator is going to be on (just like what happens to me on the Farcry game I have on 360, plus everyone seems to be high for some reason)

There is LAN play on PC, but I don't think anyone cares anymore. Developers seem to be more and more reluctant to do the old 2 or 4 way splitscreen anymore.

Anyway, I love this game no matter how hard it is to stealth kill.

For me the repetition killed the game. Every mission is a carbon copy of the last mission, only in a slightly different part of the jungle, or what have you. It just couldn't hold my interest.

So far, Fallout 3 is a great example of an "open world" game that can hold my interest. Although the jury is still out on it, since I haven't had a chance to really dive in very deep.

I do enjoy the tiered health system. Actually I think it's a fantastic edition to the series. But the whole idea of stopping to pull out a bullet, is an idea that although sounds great on paper, really just becomes repetitive and tiresome.

This game just failed to grab me and pull me into its world and I swear I gave it my all.

While the missions are repetitive and it's starting to get on my nerves, I'm still free to do whatever, as opposed to Assassin's Creed or something.

Ace Combat 6 was like that too. I swear to god every time I joined a lobby for that game my 360 would spew out bong smoke from how baked all the other players were.

I'm enjoying the SP of FC2 thus far, but the MP was nothing special. I haven't really played too far into FC2 yet mostly because of A) Real life and B) Warhammer Online. I'll be tearing into this for sure though once I head out to sea and no longer have a decent internet connection.

The other thing that bothered me was.. what else is there to really do? Also, the world respawns enemies as soon as you leave the range of visibility, seemingly. So there's a feeling of.. if I wipe out this entire place, it won't matter, because their clones are just going to come in and reposition themselves.

Although I'm sure any game with an open world has respawning NPC's, this game just seems very obvious about it. And makes it so I don't really feel anything when I run around the world doing "whatever".

This seems as good a place to bring this up as anywhere.

Is there a song called "the Iron Ninja"?
Every damn time I go on xbox live someone starts singing my name.

It's alright I guess. I'm not totally blown away by it. It's essentially another Crytek game. A pretty game, yet shallow.

It looks amazing, it sucks various genital organs of the male populous. Incidentally, I am not alone in this opinion - the guys I work with think the same. I'm going back to the original.

*namedrop* One of the bigger devs for Crytek used to live and work in this city - used to be a sysadmin at the company I previously worked for.

Thankfully his game coding is better than his sysadmin skills ever were :D

veryvery true. Although I thoroughly enjoy the creation feature, it takes way too long to download the maps. That and the multiplayer leaves something to be desired.
