(I did a search and couldn't find a thread like this the closest was the 'What are you wearing thread' which was locked and this is nothing like that)

So Escapists by and large we're all a bit geeky on here at least in our hobbies but do we dress as such?

I have to admit since I've moved to a college(I don't mean college in the American sense) with out a uniform over the last 6 months I really have started following fashion to an extent I don't wear things I think are ugly just because they're the flavour of the month.

PS has anyone else noticed in the UK that over the last year and a half period of Gok Wan's fame being fashionable has become a lot more....fashionable there being a lot more fashion related tv shows, not-make over ones just fashion of the moment type ones.

You are missing "Found a style that works and stuck with it" For quite a while now I have been working the "Jewish mafia hitman look" Consisting of A blazer, a jewish star necklace, sunglasses, a T-Shirt, black leather gloves if it's cold enough and black jeans.

I just wear what I think looks good, and what's comfortable. Wouldn't and couldn't have it any other way.

I wear what I think looks good. Fashion to me is useless, I just make my onwn semi-unique look and stay with it.

I have a load of shirts, mostly of bands or otherwise plain that cost £3. In the morning I pick out a random one, and very rarely opt for a different one. I hate fashion with a passion because someone somewhere has randomly thought up what's popular and people frigging follow it.

*Minor side track* Whenever I go out on a Friday night I alway wear what I wore in the day, which my housemates find ridiculous and would rather spend 2 hours grooming themselves in order to 'look good'. Thanks, but no thanks... I'd rather spend the 2 hours playing a game and spend the last 5-10 minutes having a quick wash and reapplying deoderant.

Does anyone else find it weird that I wear what I wore in the day out on a night out? In addition are there any others out there like me who couldn't give two shits about their appearance and 'get ready' 10 minutes before leaving?

What Iron Ninja does every morning in relation to getting dressed:

*grabs the first pair of jeans he can find*
*walks up to cupboard*
*opens cupboard*
*without looking, pulls out clothing at random*
*puts said clothes on his person*
*looks down, says "yeah... that'll do" and proceeds with the rest of the days activities*
Unless if it's a funeral or something.

My hair is also way too long and has been in need of a cut for quite a few months now, but I haven't gotten around to getting it done.

I'm not one of those "clothes are all about the corporations trying to bring you down" retards, I just don't really care enough about something as petty as clothing to bother that much about them. Though I very much prefer clothes that have as little in the way of Logos or words on them as possible. I don't really need my clothes to say things about me, I can do that myself.

I wear black t-shirts over grey, longsleeved t-shirts over a white t-shirt with tight jeans. Then I put a black hoodie over top. I've taken on the "emo" style (if you could call it that); my hair is always over my left eye, my hood is always up, and I'm about to dye my hair black with a blonde bottom layer.
