Anywho, funnily enough my favorite Final Fantasy is not exactly a Final Fantasy game. It's Kingdom Hearts, although I did enjoy 7 and 10 (minus the weird laughing scene).
You made two poll posts, exactly the same, and neither have a poll. I hate repeating myself, so I won't, I've already answered your other one.
I've got to agree with megapenguinx up there. Kingdom Hearts (all of them) is (are) a fantastic game(s) with an actually likable cast of characters. The first one is the best, Chain of Memories is frustrating as all get out, and the second one is really there for the effects (the difficulty is practically nonexistent, other than one boss fight against arguably the best character in the series) but it brings in the best characters in the series.
Final Fantasy games are good, but their characters and story leave a lot to be desired. All of the characters are flat and unlikeable. There are two exceptions to this -- Reno and Auron, of VII and X, respectively. Both are in Kingdom Hearts II (Reno was resurrected as Axel).
As also pointed out, VII and X are pretty much good games. But, they really can't compare to Kingdom Hearts, especially since their main selling points (meaning the decent characters) are already in the other game.
(If you're looking for a decent JRPG with a good cast of characters and awesome (if complicated) story, I recommend Tales of Symphonia. The two main characters may not be all that great, but every single other character in the entire game makes up for that.)

Same here. Despite how childish and annoying the characters are, the combat in Kingdom Hearts (especially 2) is great. Although I like FFVII better. FFX I never finished, and yes, the laughing scene was awkward. Not laughable though, it's not worthy of that pun.megapenguinx said:
