I voted for the Professor, but he just barely edges out Zap, Fry, and Zoidberg. I feel so incredibly bad for Fry. The man is a complete loser, and the time he finally figures out how he makes Leela love him he has to not do it.

Brannigan and Farnsworth tie for a close-second for me, but Zoidberg takes the biscuit. He's just so pathetic that I pity him and laugh at the same time. Brannigan probably has the funniest lines in the whole series, but Zoidberg is just lovably underdog.

i said Dr Zoidberg (who is really funny)
but i never noitced Captain Zapp.
The way hes so full of himself is so funny and how he hits on Leela and despite her hitting him he takes it as a compliment.
Aslo, hes so childish and funny and also a coward. its good in that episode when they're on the titanic and its about to crash into the blackhole. Cpt Zapp tells Kif to start filling the life boats when Kif says, its tradition for the captain to go down with his ship. Zapp then replys. "yes it is Kif, yes it is...which is why im promoting you to captain, good bye Kif, im going to the life boats." before running off in a comic style. hes so stupid and sleazy its funny.
