I came into this thinking you meant hack n' slash as in dungeon crawlers. I was somewhat disappointed but I picked Bayonetta. It was a masterpiece IMO.

I voted for Devil May Cry series since I played DMC 3 and 4 on PC and don't own a console.

If I did own a PS3 for example I would of chosen Bayonetta or God of War 3.

i dislike hacknslash games, due to their repetitive gameplay... i remember games like Sacred, Dungeon Siege 2, or Diablo, that had some sort of plot, but still it was just an excuse for some heavy blowout, yes it was fun, but when it's all the same, after a while it gets tiresome.

Not actually a fan of the hack and slash genre in general, to be honest, so haven't played many of those games (apart from DMC, Dante' Inferno and GoW), but I adore Bayonetta. I suppose I'm not completely qualified to comment, but...meh!

I know the people you mean...But instead of putting 'I dont play games' just put ' I dont play hack'n'slash games.'

Also, thats not a great hack'n'slash list...my favourites are Diablo and Torchlight, both for similar reasons. Yet they arent on the list.
